I actually got the rare opportunity to make thermite in my chemistry 12 class. My teacher was a family friend and she made an exception for my group. We made it in her backyard in a massive clay flowerpot. I’ll never forget it 😂

Are you certain that the thermite is completely dry? The pulsing and escaping gas could also be caused by water vapor.

You can make homemade thermite all you need to do is put some iron in a bucket of water let the rust collect put it through a coffee filter of some sort grind up some aluminum foil mix it together and you got thermite
