I just bought mine and wanted to know how to properly set the date and time. The days are in English and Spanish which im assuming this particular watch is not made in Japan. Can you give a tutorial on how to set properly?

Hey there, We made a video on how to set a seiko turtle, but it is the exact same procedure/mechanism. Check it out here: kzitem.info/news/bejne/jpB5yYickJyfq3o Let me know if you still need help! Rafael

Good looking watch, but the dots only covering a 4th of the bezel just looks weird to me. I wish the crown was a screw down too lol. I guess I just miss the SKX007

Aside from the screw-down crown difference, the 5KX is just as customizable as the SKX, so you could arguably swap out the bezel insert for another one of your preference. Rafael

Does this wear more like a 40mm, i know they make a smaller version at 38mm but think that may be to small

From my experience, I'd say it wears larger than most 40mm, but I suppose this depends on what you're used to wearing.

if I were to buy the SRPD55K1 (that is not made in Japan) will the watch still have the Japanese lettering on the days of the week?
@Bespokeunit

The versions that are not Made in Japan usually do not have the Japanese calendar as the second language. However, you can always buy the English/Japanese datewheel online and then find a local watchmaker to change it out for you (if you do not have any watchmaking experience.)

Sir.what about GREEN Seiko 5 Sports ?its same colour with Rolex Hulk Green?
@Bespokeunit
Жыл бұрын
Hello, There will be very few differences between the SBSA005 reviewed here and the Green version of this watch. Of course, the dial and bezel are green instead of black. Additionally, given that this is the Made in Japan version of the watch, it has a date wheel in English and Kanji. Depending on the Green version that you purchase, the second language may be different, but English will always be one of them. Rafael

Wow. Man that looks just like the SKX. I guess no reason for folks to look for the SKX unless they are collecting or actually diving.

Yeah, this is pretty much the direct replacement of the base SKX007 and I think they did a great job with the updates. Rafael

How to prevent bracelet from scratches?
@Bespokeunit
2 жыл бұрын
Hello, There's really no way to prevent the scratches. Instead, embrace them! This is a sports watch, it's made to take bumps and keep on going. I guess you could switch out the bracelet for a strap but the case of the watch would still become worn over time. Rafael

Manual winding isn't working

Hey there, Can you expand a bit more on the issue you're having? Rafael
@anuragkhosla

@@Bespokeunit don't know when to stop winding. When the watch stops, winding it manually doesn't bring it back working, it needs to be worn first. That's the issue I am facing. Thanks for asking.
@Bespokeunit

@@anuragkhosla It sounds like something is broken inside. Just to confirm - you're manually winding it with the crown at the "0 position", so the position where it's closest to the case?
