Thanks so much for this info as I am holding the same watch in my hands and adjusting day and date too as I had forgotten how to do so! I am original owner also and got this for Christmas from parents back in 1970 or 1971 I forget lol! Watch in great condition & never serviced and I used to wear it all the time for years! Thanks again & I subscribed as I collect knives too! Cheers!!

Create a video. Original Pogues are very hard to find on KZitem.

Both Skylab-4 astronauts, Gerald "Jerry" Carr (Movado Datachron HS-360 automatic) and William "Bill" Pogue (Seiko 6139-6005) wore an automatic chronograph in space during their 84 days long SL-4 spaceflight mission. The correct space-flown SEIKO needs to have " Water 70m Resist" on the dial. #MoonwatchUniverse 🧐

I have been wearing my Seiko Pogue (manufactured Dec 1975) as an everyday watch since June 1976. I recently had it serviced by Dan Blair (KZitem Channel: Blair Watch Project). It keeps awesome time +/- 2 seconds per day. Blair placed a new crystal, serviced it, ,and added 2 more jewels to the movement. The Pogue is the most forged dial of any Seiko.

Thank you so much for this. My dad passed away in August, and I inherited this watch from him ( he used to wear it all the time when I was a little one), but I couldn't figure out how to change the date. I even brought it to a jeweler, who couldn't figure it out either. Though this place, primarily sold Rolex, so he probably didn't have the time for a Seiko.
