Well, Jason Alexander(George) tried to go on and do acting in TV shows, but they all failed. Micheal Richardson(Kramer) also had a sitcom that failed. But Julia Louis Dreyfus(Elaine) went on to be successful with multiple shows.

That was actually a mistake. The actor Frank Silva was initially hired as a lighting designer and his reflection was an accident. But Lynch liked it so much he created Bob because of Silva and kept that shot.

These shows are oddly similar in many ways. The directors left the show in the middle of the season and came back for the final episode. And they have same actors in both shows. Maybe Seinfeld is the white lodge. One and the same...
