Excellent video man. I turned my Scrambler into a Rock Crawler and love it. But I can't do what the buggys do by a long shot. I've considered doing a buggy and your vid is for sure has good info, thanks.

Great info. Thinking about the next step and being located in the Southeast, you have confirmed that I need a General Purpose Trail Buggy. Thanks for sharing.

Hey man thanks for taking time to make the video , didn't realize their was so many types
Good video, but I think it needed even more depth. Trail buggy, that’s a broad term. I’m at the beginning stages of wanting to build what you referred to as a trail buggy. Where is a good place to start for designs, plans, ideas and more??

What kind if buggy would you recommend for someone just getting into rock or trail crawling? I want to build my own but don’t want to ruin a truck or jeep

Going through this right now. Missed out on a bare ls rock buggy for 2k. Not much for used stuff in PNW. Ripped up the rear of the unibody on the XJ. And don't want to package semi triangulated 4 link and waste money on a cage. Too heavy at that point. So I want to find a wider 54" solid 115" 2 seater. After running sand hollow it destroyed my superduty swapped XJ. The only thing is we do some deep snow wheeling in the winter and my jeeps heater works. Lol I'd hate to be 30-40 miles away from the trailer in a buggy blasting 3-4 ft deep ditches and hit a blizzard. I'm looking on rock crawler classifieds, but where do I find used part outs and unmotivated deals?

Custom. A copy of an old Twisted Customs XRRA chassis, with some improvements.

There is a Facebook group called "Rock Buggies" where many of today's buggy owners share info. facebook.com/groups/rockbuggies/

@@palaciosivan100 I have now helped build 2 rock lizard buggies. Be mindful that the standard chassis is very small, and tall or long-torso people will not fit well - so definitely get the tall option if you order a chassis. Also, do not order the tabs and mounts from fabn801; the quality on those is very bad.
