Great video overall. I will say that simply twisting the wires and adding heat shrink is not a very secure connection. Heat shrink is for waterproofing and is meant to go over either a solder or crimp butt-splice. Glad it's working well for you so far.

How's is it holding for you? Do you recommend this set up or would you go another route?

Good morning, I have been very happy with this set up. I haven't used the trailer over the winter and where I parked it in the shade made by my house (the worst spot possible except the trailer is covered less the tongue) it has maintained the battery all winter. Since I installed the solar charger I have not plugged it into 120v once. My guess is that if you use your trailer for multiple dumps a day you would be happy on sunny days and disappointed on rainy days. For occasional use it is totally the way to go. I do have a NOCO trickle charger you can see in the video. My original plan was to make both chargers have the same plug so I could swap it over quickly if I need to top off the battery overnight, but so far I have only needed the solar. Sorry for taking so long to get back you.
