Sell marriage to you? Well, first of all you get a diamond ring to show to your friends. Then you get a big ceremony where you are the center of attention. Then there is a nice period of time, usually about 18 months or so, when your partner is the greatest thing you could possibly imagine. After that, if you get bored and want a new partner, you can end the legal contract and leave the situation richer than you were before. Wait, what's that? You're a man? Uhhhh ......... The laws in Australia are highly biased towards the female partner or at the very least, the partner that has the least assets/income. Funny how Australian women are highly discriminatory when it comes to income/assets in choosing a partner/husband. If a man owns a house and has paid it off (or is even still paying it off) then the house is HIS and should not be subject to any claim. If the woman contributes towards a loan then she should only be eligible to receive the money that she contributed (I'm trying to be fair here). Do NOT cohabitate or even contemplate marriage (if you are foolish enough) without getting legal advice. Men will typically do more homework on buying a car but when it comes to relationships/marriage, most men go in blind.

Both of you are right of course, but I was referring to how even young women, who most likely will eventually find a poor sucker to marry and live off from, seem to be aware of how much of a bad deal marriage is for men. That is to say, I often detected disappointment when I made them know marriage, or children for that matter, will always be off the table for me. These young women taking full advantage of their youth and beauty don't even bother maintaining the false pretense that they see marriage as a mutually beneficial relationship. Perhaps they know its pointless to deny reality to my face or perhaps they themselves wouldn't want to marry. Who knows? It's just very interesting to me how quickly that conversation has change over the last few years.

I've been married. There is no reason to get married. Women feel good when they see their man miserable. Women believe that men should love them even when they are nothing you fell in love with. Okay, I'll try education. Who knows it may work. I was married for 8 and a half years. I dated ,exclusively, the woman I married for 5 and a half additional years My divorce was the gentlest you've ever heard of or imagined. I had an advantage at that time. There was no internet. Oh movies warned how women are. Check out the 50's movies. Unfortunately the moves were framed as comedy so expecting a young man to learn from it is asking a bit much. The reason I was lucky is my Ex didn't know that she'd win. Took a lawyer to explain it to her after the divorce. Man was she pissed. Fortunately by the time she found out I hadn't been working for a while so there was nothing she could get. I spent a great deal of time chatting with married women at parties and such. I listened because that's most of what I did. Women would talk about themselves. When I talked to older men they talked about their marriages. Their experiences matched my own. I've given you the simplest parts that I was able to say succinctly. Here's how it works. 1. You work all week. She expects you to either give her your paycheck or you pay all the bills and she'll keep her account for "Vacation"/spending money. So you have nothing and she has everything. She'll run her credit card up (which you pay for; it is a bill after all) until there is nothing left in your account. She will absolutely not let you see her checkbook unless she's spent it all. Don't worry she keeps mad money (hidden). 2. You work all week and want to take a day to sit and watch TV or something. She'll have a "Honey Do" list which will take most of your day. The rest of the day she has things she wants you to take her to. 3. Sex is gone. She has a headache, she's tired from work (she works in an air conditioned office) She hurt herself doing something. expect sex half as much this year as last year. I quit when I hit less than 1/8th the sex I was originally getting. 4. Exercise is a thing of the past. She just works too hard to have time. She's going to gain 12 pounds every year one for each month isn't that sweet. 5. When you say something about her weight, her answer will be "You should love me just the way I am. I love you just the way you are." At the time she said that I weighed 180 lbs and had a 35" waist, all muscle. She weighed 180 lbs with a 42" waist, all fat. 6. Whenever she goes out to get a "Glamour shot" taken because she doesn't feel beautiful it will be to show to all of her MALE friends. Oh and you. You won't get to keep even 1 copy. You most certainly won't be able to get your own. "There just isn't enough money right now." 7. Oh yeah. After sex is down to about 1/4 the original amount you'll decide to try talking to your wife. She's a person after all and you have time on your hands. DON'T DO IT. but your bored so you will. You'll find out this person is not someone you would ever want to associate with. The reasons are various and different from person to person but basically she's not the person you thought she was and not like anything you thought. If you still don't believe the accuracy of what I have said then GET MARRIED. I DARE YOU. Try not to commit suicide after the divorce.

Thank you for this. After 5 years of dating a 20yo trapped in a 41yo body her whole family ganged up on me with shaming. So when I asked " but what's in it for me?" and their only come back was "but it ISNT about what you want" - so what I want didn't matter, nor the 4 properties I was bringing to the table (she was broke). I finished by stating this "if she has nothing to bring to the table, then she has nothing to keep her there" I cheat, I loose big bucks. She cheats - she gains big bucks. There's a very REAL incentive for women to just leave (for any reason) and no disincentive to stay.

I'm effectively putting up a good behaviour bond in the form of my assets. So I either "tow the line" or she would leave with the "bond", but again, if she becomes insufferable and I walk I forfeit my bond. Its a no win situation. BTW - I respectfully offer a topic suggestion: I once read "make a good life instead of ways to escape it" in light of all these women that travel their lives away, only to then be looking for a man with assets because they have nothing. Try taking your holiday photos to the bank for a loan... Keep up the great work.

Here's a thing. For a while I was actively looking for a reason to get married. I looked for lists, googled some and always come to the same conclusion. All mariage benefits for a woman can be clearly stated and enforced by police force, laws, regulations and financial numbers. Every benefit for a man is rather vague. More sex, companionship, love, belonging... When was the last time you heard someone calling the police because his wife didn't love him enough... 😀 (Edit: less stupid English)

Someone told me to leave now, my kids will be fine. I figure, I made this decision now I must suck it up, and raise my daughter right no matter how much I want out. I will never commit to a relationship again. Probably die alone but, we all die alone in the end. It's not worth it. Women will turn on you the instant they get what they want. Sometimes it's the little things in life that have the most profound impact: I bumped into a dude I used to work with at a former job a few weeks back. I had just grown my beard out and he commented that I looked great with a beard. Then he said that he was considering growing a beard but he had to get permission from his wife before doing so. That struck a cord with me because I'm single, unmarried, no kids and MGTOW. And as such, I don't have to ask a woman for permission to grow a beard or for that matter anything else I want to do. Furthermore, I find it despicable as well as hypocritical that a man has to ask permission to do something as simple as growing a beard -- while a woman thinks nothing of say changing her hair color irregardless of the husbands giving her permission to do so. Again, it is aforementioned little reminders that marriage or just being in a serious relationship with a woman these days is not worth it.

He genuinely asked me: "So, what is this. Are you jealous or something?" Asking me having had several relationships and could have been married if I wanted to. These guys have no clue. Worship of a "woman" (not God) is their ultimate concern. So often people ask me: "you don't want to stay alone forever, do you?" Next time that happens I will ask them to convince me why I shouldn't. Anyway, very good video.

at: Wolf [to understand] ... I figure there are many different types of men (more then the types of women) and many men were literally simply born to do the breeding/provider thing. They are permanently hard wired that way -- the "Red Pill" will never have any meaning to them. Other men were not so strongly inclined to breed but had/have other interests (e.g. Tesla). It should be correctly understood that nature and evolution are not really about the survival of the fittest but the survival of the species -- this is primary. It also takes only one man to inseminate many women. As a consequence, we had/have men pushing forward in other areas, of which often benefits the species on some level, while others, so inclined, settle into the provider routine which then benefits the species in the specific area of procreation.

A King once beckons his best advisor to find the answer for a question that has been bugging him for some time: should a man get married or not? “ Dint return unless you have the answer! “ he ordered him. The advisor went out and travelled in the King’s vast dominion. He dressed as a peasant and talked to the people in market places. Intermingled with the poor and the more well-off. Lived in different towns and with people with different traditions. 4 years past and finally he returned to the palace. “My beloved king here’s my answer to you: Marry and you will live your life like a dog but die like a man. Don’t marry and you will live like a man, but die like a dog. “ Now days with all the gynocentricity correctness it’s a bit more of loose loose deal: you live like a dog and die like a dog if your luck runs out....

Misery loves company. When people have invested so much into something, it's very hard to get them to admit they might have been wrong. They've sacrificed so much on the altar of marriage that obviously, it has to be worth it, and everyone should want to do the same. And when you refuse that, then you force them to question that, and the realisation of what is lost can be so painful and the cost of getting out can be so high that most people refuse to even acknowledge that in their minds. So they keep thinking marriage is the best thing since sliced bread, and they keep trying to push it on you. There's even a good chance that they push harder on you than they would on an incel. An incel want a relationship, so he's in the same framework as them. You, you are actually opposing the framework and saying it's bad, not worth the cost. You are the one to be convinced or shunned.

Precisely. With that contract, she can relax knowing she has you. Without it, every day she has to prove her place in your life. You do have to be careful about pregnancy though; if you want kids you have to accept the possibility that even a woman that has proven her value up to that point could go sour like bad milk at the drop of a dime(which is why it's better to fight for custody than give it up). Not going to have kids or are unsure? Store a sample of your baby gravy( *without her knowledge* ) and get a vasectomy. A hit to your manhood but it might just save you.

Stories about divorced Italian young fathers sleeping on the streets or in their cars is not exactly a strong advertising for fatherhood. here is a analogy...once you sign that marriage contract a loaded gun is placed on the living room table ..you will both will walk by that table for who knows how long...at least 50% one of you will pick it up and point it...80% it will be her pointing it at you basically robbing you blind...anyone like those odds??

I've worked out in a lot of gyms and talked to a lot of guys from every walk of life over the years. The thing I've heard more often than anything else is " you know, I love my kids, buuuut if I had it to do over again...". Heard that a million times. I've never heard a batchelor say, " you know, I really regret not getting married and having kids". Never heard that. Not once.

Why would I need to sacrafice my future freedom just to virtue signal? I dont need to sign a contract to be monogamous with the person I love.

I would love to be married to the "right woman", have kids and raise a traditional family. But divorce has become almost universal and I don't think I could handle being divorce raped. Being alone isn't so bad. It's been about 30 yrs since I was serious about a woman. It ended badly, lots of pain. Alone I have prospered. I am a Christian, so I have the promise of eternal life. This life is not my only concern.

There are legal ways to avoid the divorce raping. Get your assets in a trust before marrying. Fill up a pre-nup. Live in a low income state so the welfare chart is lower in case something happens. Do not have too many kids or none at all. Good luck.

I've had a lot of men tell me privately when they're wives are not around that they would love to be single like me, but it's "Too late now". That "too late now" line just makes me sad, but I get why they feel that way. They know that if they get divorced, they're wife will ASS RAPE them in divorce court, not to mention the shaming they'll have to endure. And then there's the fear of losing their kids. This gynocentric world is a disgrace.

@cumshot16 I thought I was smart. First I married an American lady. After a while I learned that you never ever marry or impregnate an American woman. Then I went to Asia. I met a woman there. She migrated to the U.S and I married her. The 2nd divorce was easy because there were no children. I had planned to never impregnate her. Fatherhood and pregnancy are 6 feet in the ground where they belong.

People used to think it was odd that I would chose my parents or my best friend over my girlfriend. My thing thought process was that my parents raised me, provided for me and gave me all the love and I support I needed to grow into a decent man. So, of course I'll never abandon them for some chick. It's the same with my best friend, he's always been there for me at my worst times, and I'm going to do the same for him. It wasn't until I discovered MGTOW that I found out there are people with the same thought process. Glad to see I am not alone
