I'm jealous that I don't know how to do all that electronic stuff you did, because I have a '99 that needs most of what you improved on yours. I don't have the money now because of a disaster with neighbor's plumbing drenching my condo and insurance of HOA fighting me etc. etc. etc... so I wish I could do it myself. I jus don't know how, and anytime somebody says "just learn how- it's easy (blah blah)!" I never feel like I can do more than an oil change and wash it because I never worked up to that level. The transmission cooler-- when I'm on a long uphill grade, I think she's a bit taxed and wondered how much work that is and if maybe my technicians could do it for me. I would just need to know what equipment you used and how. Front locker--- always wanted one-- what kind is it and did you add it yourself? How much hassle? Again, I just don't know how to send wires everywhere and what type, power, etc... like those hookups in the back you did. Man that's cool. How do you learn what to use or what type of power you need? I guess it comes down to what helps the most items. I should sell mine, but I also have leak from the yoke on the driveshaft; makes it look like the rear diff is leaking. Parts are getting more and more scarce. But, it's actually been pretty good off road-- better than some people think it is LOL and with no front locker, just LSD in the rear. So the H3 is great of road? I wondered. They look capable. Thanks if you have time for my questions. Good video.

Thx for the comment..... So, "how do you eat an elephant?.... One bite at a time" No one is born with the knowledge to do things, we all learn by doing. You just gotta dive in and make mistakes. You asked how I learned, well that's how 😊, plus many hours of reading and KZitem videos lol. The front locker is the lokka brand from Australia, it's a mechanical locker and doesn't require any electronic connections as it just engages by itself mechanically. I actually just paid a shop to install it, as i didn't have the equipment to do it myself. The transmission cooler, it's fairly easy to do on your own.. There's a tonne of KZitem videos to help with that as well. They're pretty much all the same for any vehicle. But I'd only recommend installing one if you're towing or off roading.

The Hummer h3 has been seriously awesome. They're more reliable then the Isuzu (providing you get the 07 and up) and definitely more capable off road.

A Little late now lol. I replaced it with a different beast, also somewhat unique, but more capable off road

I have a 1998 like this one but I was patient and held out for a 5 speed as I hate the autos and the 4L30E in these are terrible.

Yes, I made some 3" coil spacers for the rear, and then cranked the torsion bars in front to match

very tough looking. i like it. I've got a near mint one owner (me) 99 model. driven 5k a year, every year. yours is a $1,500 truck. even with all the off road stuff put on, it's clearly been used/abused. And "custom done" means "i rigged it up myself. "

I've got a $2000 offer so far. The person that buys it, needs to be someone who can make use of the front locker, which itself costs $1500
