I have a suggestion, when you make the tag put the price at the top and the bottom ( maybe on the bottom back). When you sell that item tear the tag off and put that tag into an envelope with either Maddie or Janet’s name on it. You might have a code number for what the item is. Then you just go through the envelopes to record the sales. Good luck on the rest of your shows and festivals.

Great idea....definitely need a better system than writing it down!

I agree. I tag each item and the tags have the price on one side and a code on the opposite side that tells me what the item was, the color, and type of yarn used to make it. I attach the tags with small safety pins. When I sell the item, I remove the tag and drop it in a container. Then after my market, I can go through the tags and know excactly what sold. No trying to record sales during the event.

LOTS of work ladies. Well done. It is interesting how some items you think you will sell thru and you don't. Like the corn keychains. I would have bought one if I was there. Anyways. Have fun at the shelter today.

Great job JoAnn 's has had some amazing yarn sales recently. Hope you were able to take advantage of them. Thanks for doc. You've inspired & enabled me - caught a couple of "crochet with Gemma", wound up buying a dragon package pattern. Holy Moly, my Winnie the Dragon turned out incredible. It was a baby gift & they loved it. Although, it could be "a one & done". Maybe after some time I may do another (long time)

If your demographic is college kids, then items in the different local school colors would be popular imo. Especially in the fall during football season. If the insurance is liability insurance and a requirement of the venue then it should be deductible along with booth rental expense.

I love everything you both crochet and knit. My granddaughter crochets. She is 11. She made a cap for her twin brother and sells things she makes to raise money at her school store. I am not artistic and admire it in others 9:57

Thank you for yet another great crochet video, I just adore you guys! Congrats on your successful market. I want to mention, however, that I’m struggling to link to the patterns you used. I clicked the image but wasn’t linked. Perhaps I’m misunderstanding something. Anyway, I love following your channel! 😊

When I left click on the link, a little drop down shows up under the item, taking me to where it's found, (like etsy) and if I right click instead, there's a drop down menu showing 'copy link, show link' etc, I've tried a few of them with no problem, but not all, so maybe some work and some dont?

If you charge too much they wont sell. You could never get back what your time is actually worth. Its best to not make things that are too labor intensive.

I rarely make amigurumi (I call them Amis for short) but I LOVE watching YT videos, esp ones with mother and daughter. I used to vend with my daughter, but alas, she's moved half way cross the country :'( I DO plan on moving there and we will start vending again SOMEDAY. I must admit, I am a sucker for all things dragon, so I have made some dragon amis. But in this video I caught a glimpse of a pretty crochet mandala, do you have a pattern for it, or a link? Right now I'm in FULL production mode for all things pumpkin and Halloween :) AND I just discovered this morning that JoAnn's has HALLOWEEN YARN!! AND IT'S ON SALE! (Pardon my excitement) Sadly by the time I had piled my online cart full of yarn, the Witch's Potion color was sold out, but I'll keep trying

Corn just isn't a cute, cuddly thing.....I think the bigger ones with the hat are cute. When I get a plushie its going to be an animal or mermaid or fairy or something like that. My granddaughter went thru a big fairy phase if you haven't done any.
