Rough calculations... leasing fees for harvester, truck, trailer, and maus to pickup cost 65-70k, sold for 103k... so made 30-35k profits.

He could have just rented a Conveyor belt that Aouto picks up what on the ground near it. It would have been cheaper

@@My_cat_is_so_cute He should have just sold the beets as he harvested them. Any difference in price was infinitely overshadowed by the cost of the maus rental.

It was wonderful to see the roper in action. I've never used it and neither have I seen anyone else use it. What a beast.

Just wondering given the difficulty of getting in and out of that field, is the other gate even worse, or is it one of those situations where you have been too focussed on the field work to notice the other gate?

Around 30 grand profit is a bit underwhelming considering the amount of work required to harvest and transport the crop.

yep. The price flucuation was negated by the equipment rental. Better had he just carted to the sellpoint direct from the harvester...Here's the thing though; intelligent gameplay and profit is secondary to making good videos. This way he got the chance to use the mouse or whatever it is called.

Yeah. For the root crops to make financial sense you really need to go *all in* on them - own the equipment and use positively gargantuan fields.

I think I’ve worked out the issue you were having when you were crashing. It seems the wheel base on the lorry was to long which would mean that the lorry would have more weight pushing down on the fifth wheel. If you had a short wheel base the weight would be slightly more balanced because of the weight in front of the lorry eg from the engine etc. At least I think that’s the reason 😃

You crashing with a full load has not so much to do with the weight and more with your speed lol Going 50mph downhill fully loaded on roads like this is crazy, you need to slow down lol (In game I'd probably do the exact same thing myself :P)

I recall years ago when I thought I could earn a fortune on beets. To make it pay I would have to go all in, every field. When the time came to sell I was thinking I would be able to pay down some of the debt, but after the first two trailers of beets sold, they became worthless. The price tanked.

They are worth a little more cut, you won't get more after cutting. But unless you get a mod it's a very slow process with the base game beet cutter
