Only insignificant differences between Eagles, Philharmonics, Brittanias, Krugerrands, Kangaroos etc. nothing to really to worry about - at the insignificant digits. Hello Yankee. I'm new to precious metals. I'm looking to invest some cash I have saved and buy roughly 10,000 USD in gold and silver. I have been researching for about a month now on how to go about this and what to buy and what not to buy. Your videos have been very informative. At first I thought I wanted to stick to only Constitutional silver/gold (only gold/silver eagles/buffalos) After watching some of your recent stuff and seeing how the silver eagles are bringing a high premium in (June 2022) Some of the CA Maples seem like a better buy right now? As far as silver goes, what are the downsides to getting Maples over US mint eagles? Obviously i'd save some $ with the Maples being slightly cheaper. But as far as resale in your experience they seem to fetch slightly less? Tim says he pays close to eagles but not quite. Don't get me wrong I'm planning on holding them for a while. I'm just wondering if in these current times if getting a 25 roll of silver maples and saving a few bucks up front vs eagles is a good move if say I need to liquidate them 10-15 years down the road. As far as 1oz gold coins it seems that going US mint coins are the way to go as the premiums are roughly the same give or take a couple bucks for what I can find gold maples for. It seems your prefer coins vs bars in either metal so I was planning on sticking to coins as well unless you think there would be any advantage to looking into bars for my first large-ish purchase/entry into metals. Any thoughts on how to split $10k in silver vs gold? 60/40, x2 1oz gold coins and the rest silver or what? Thanks for taking the time to read this. Id greatly appreciate any other tips or flat out telling me I'm totally wrong in my thinking and to go a different direction entirely lol.

Trying to find some constitutional very good price but I guess everybody is huh! I have been doing house clean out for a while but I always sold the silver and gold I got and I really kick myself right now! I dealt with the same person for years and he always give me like twenty 30% below spot! Only saying I took care of me and the great deals get me! I guess was taking advantage of me this entire time? Majority of the time it was jewellery many times it's very nice jewellery though! many times I sold him constitutional and I think I sold him a bar once or twice nothing big sterling probably 1oz bars or something like that you know like 1/2 or 2 inches long by 1 inches wide and 1 quarter inch thick. Don't get me wrong I've been doing the pretty long time and no quite a bit as far as real fake what I'm looking at etc but I never really knew supposed to get and it always kind of made sense they would buy it for below spot because how else would you make money. I had also called shopped/ called around to get prices in the very beginning and made sure to sound like I knew what I was talking about and every place was pretty much the same price. So I just picked up the person who was close to me and was very nice and I went there tonight in the beginning I would go to 2 or 3 places with everything to get their prices before I would and it was always pretty much the same I started just going to him every time. I started to save stuff about a year or two ago and it sucks because I ended up bad spark and end up having to get rid of almost all that turn it up being around 2500 and I kept some of the constitutional that I had as well as a few little pieces of silver and gold not much. But with the last one I got and actually just got another small one with 3or4 nice chunks of gold. (Rings) so I was able to start my collection up again is a decent little start. I would like to get some coins/rounds/bars/constitutional/ etc just because it might be a bit harder to use gold/silver for trade etc if really needed because it's jewelry so I don't know if I should sell it and get coins etc or what 2do... either way would like to buy I guess some constitutional because it is cheapest and still very recognisable

I have a bunch of cutlery marked Sliver and a magnet will not stick and I can tell it is not plate. What is the chance it is solid silver like it says?

Can you confirm what melt value is? Is melt the same as the spot price of the metal? Is melt value of 90% constitutional coins the corresponding silver value or do ppl take into account the other metal in there (like copper)?

Unfortunately with eBay, you have to pay fees. Listing fees, selling fees, monetary transaction fees. Then if you sell anything over $600 total for the year, you have to pay income taxes on it.

Forwarding order expired is 12 months to the new address and 6 more returning to you with the new address so you know they're gone over a year and after 18 months, no info left on file. Back to sender period.

but isnt selling silver diff from lcs to lcs? i heard some dont really care because they have people that come in and just buy to buy. when i first started i bought maples and 2 were tarnished and one had slight milk but hard to see. still charged what he would any maples. then my next 10 ounces were 2019's all in capsules and still charged 30. so is it diff or was my lcs a weird case?
