My admiration for the Selmon Bros stands alone. Switzer always delivers. I remember him saying in 1973 that they didn't say we couldn't win after the bowl and TV ban. Thanks for the memories.

Switzer made it, so these 3 great BLACK athletes could get the credit they deserves. It was the great BLACK athletes that made Oklahoma football the special place it was/is. We Love you Barry!!!!!

What about Brian Bosworth?
@Rubin4749

@@adamcarrey9115 He'll have a statue someday, Remember Selmons were 1970s Bosworth was 80s, and there were other "complicating factors". The Selmon brothers didn't take steroids. NOW, we can argue about that as Sooner fans, but Bosworth will get in the the HOF and have a statue, these things take time, But the Selmons DESERVED to get in before Bosworth. Are you MAGA?? grow up and be an ADULT. We don't do these things by skin color, and neither did Switzer, Switzer "went to bat" for these guys because BACKWARDS guys like YOU, who will SCREAM for Bosworth,

I was there. It was a very good ceremony. Great, in fact. Afterwards, I was standing talking to a guy who it was his first OU game when one of the security guys drove by w/ Switzer. That's the closest I've ever been to Barry. Will there ever be a group of brothers like the Selmons in college football? I really doubt it. Great players, even better people.

The Selmon brothers were some bad dudes on the gridiron. OU was fortunate to have them on the sidelines. I just wish that Lee Roy could have been there to see his name and likeness memorialized.
