The video starts with my friend Zach coming out to help me put an incline unload on our 50,000 bushel bin. With the assistance of the Case 1840 skid loader and some power tools, we installed the unit quickly.
This video has plenty of clips from Daddy Cornstar in it, so you should not be disappointed! I would tell you what they are about, but that would ruin the suspense.
Dad and I ran out to check on beans and found they were fit to harvest. We made a few adjustments to the sieves and while we were doing that, I give a quick description of how the combine works.
We fired up the 2001 Case IH 2388 combine and started harvesting soybeans. Dad really likes the new AgLeader OnTrac3 auto steer system paired with the InCommand 1200 monitor.
We ran up to grab the freight liner and on the way into the field, Dad dropped the passenger wheel into the ditch. Luckily, we were not stuck very badly because we could pull it out with the 1995 Dodge dually 3500.
We got into the field and our combine mechanic showed up to look at a few things on the combine. While they were inspecting the combine, Cooper and I were fixing a hole in the Brent V700 grain cart.
Come to find out, the combine needed to be brought home to the main heated shop to be fixed. We took off the bean head and brought the combine home. Dad and Ryan, our combine mechanic, tore into the combine while Cooper and I remounted an AgCam onto the auger on the grain cart.
Once Cooper and I got that done, we ran over to the big machine shed and installed an auger in the ceiling to transfer grain throughout the building easier. We ran into a few issues along the way, but got everything resolved with no major problems.
The video ends with words from Daddy Cornstar.
