Thank you for the demonstration and great information about the three brushes sharing the same knot. I was reluctant to go for the wood painted handle of 1305, and this clears up for me. I'll go for the Galahad brush.

Question for you sir. Do you know if there's a performance difference between the Galahad dyed boar bristle brush used in this video opposed to the Galahad boar without the dyed bristles? Semogue states they are both Premium grade yet do not indicate what the "tops" are. Previously, the dyed bristles were 75% tops of varying grades, and the un-dyed were 90% tops of varying grades also. Semogue no longer indicates the tops %, I am curious to know if they perform the same and just look different. Thanks!

I prefer the banded Galahad since the backbone is a little bit stronger than the bleached one

830 is one of my all time favorite boar brushes! BTW What does galahad mean?

It's a great brush indeed.The 830 is a classic of classic.Galahad is the name of the illegitimate son or Sir Lancelot and was considered a very pure soul. The brush is also brilliant
