I beat a Life +30 case in Ga with a Public defender. But I was actually innocent and had worked my case mostly on my own prior to him getting the case 3 months before trial. I will say with the case load he had, he did do his due diligence on my case and compared to the first CAP I had, the 2nd one actually believed me and gave me the benefit of the doubt. But I’ll agree that most PDs don’t give a single solitary fuck.

I can 100% understand why people involved in the justice system (judges, prosecutors, expert witnesses) don't like seeing defendants who KNOW damn well they are guilty (and know the amount of evidence against them will result in a guilty verdict).... but still continue to waste the court's time, waste tax payer dollars for public defenders (if needed... usually are), waste days, and even weeks of juror's time, etc. If you want to commit crimes, don't be a coward when it comes times to owning your own shit. It's funny to me that the worst of society are the biggest cowards at the end of the day. They can't accept responsibility for their own actions and they are all scared to death to go to prison. So then... Why commit crimes when you already know the consequences but are not willing to face them?

It's all part of the game. Courts are a fascinating place to sit and watch proceedings. I don't blame anyone for trying their luck against 12 people in a jury. If OJ Simpson can blindside a jury, anything is possible, and I'm sure you can find plenty of examples online where trials have imploded or defendants have inexplicably got out after trial despite looking as guilty as sin If you're looking at a long time on prison, some people believe they might as well give a trial a go. They've barely got much to lose.

When watching the sentencing, I thought they maybe deserved 9 years at most just because they injured a little girl(which thankfully wasn't and bad injury) but after watching the shooting, I'm mad they didn't get life. Broad day light, a bunch of innocent people around, none of them involved gave 2 shits about the public and by the looks of it, they would do it again if they were never caught. None of them were really aiming, they were just trying to let off as many rounds as possible so that shows they never cared about innocent people getting shot or killed

Yes , that's actually a well given sentence , and I mean it just for the little girl being grazed by a stray bullet , no child should go through no incident so violent like that , now that poor little girl has to live traumatized, living in fear where ever she goes , I feel bad for that little angel of God 🙏 and may God bless her from here on , when it comes to children I have no mercy for those ignorant people
@Benjy86

Idk why everyone thinks children are all little "angels"... these dudes right here were children just 5 years ago, and I bet they were FAR from being "angels". Kids are resilient and I doubt the little girl was "traumatized" by being grazed on the finger. She probably forgot about it by the time she got home and started playing with her toys.

I get it, no child SHOULD GO through that. What i feel though is we should attack the issue a different way than by the suspects, thats like taping up a dam to stop a flood. Its the corrupt, messed up city of Cleveland that is left so decrepit and old and falling apart, even the authority structure is like that here. Indirectly calling these men n***** and condemning them for their actions, that was the only thing that was taught to these people as children, and them doing all that they know should not be the area of concern here. Its shouting into an echo chamber of grandstanding

@@Benjy86 dude, really? Would you not be bothered if you were minding your own business buying a drink or something at a gas station and all of a sudden you hear shooting and next thing you know you're bleeding? It doesn't matter she was only grazed, if it had been a few inches different then she would have been seriously injured or killed. And she has to live with knowing that. So now she's always gonna have that in the back of her mind whenever she goes out in public. So yea, I'd say she might be traumatized. Until you live through it you have no idea how it feels, try some compassion

@@ewoknips5154 I went through way more traumatizing events as a child than being grazed on the finger, and pretty much forgot about them by the time I got a new toy or really anything to be excited about. Children are not like adults, they have the memory of a goldfish and don't ponder and reflect on things the way you think they do.

Ohio doesn't play. My childrens father was 17 when charged with a B&E and ended up doing a 9 year sentence. No guns involved. Just a few drunk buddies, doing stupid crap. Young and dumb, he lost 9 years of his life!! May you now RIP!! 🙏 We miss you😢

Rocking back and forth in the chair, looking up at the ceiling, etc., doesn't exactly scream remorse does it? It's almost like they're saying, "Yeah, I feel terrible. Now let me go home. I have shit to do your honor." 😮 I don't think 22 years is going to turn them into honest upstanding citizens, but that's why I stopped playing the goddamned fool with my life before I got 22 years too.

I got food poisoning the other day and woke up today throwin up, spent the day throwing up and takin warm baths. Just trynna feel better. Got some chicken noodle soup in front of me and I'm watchin this. I just wanna say that when you're painfully throwing up all day, sick as hell, you definitely realize everything you take for granted. I cant even imagine being sick like this in prison... the pain I was feeling today already had me praying to GOD. Edit; hey death, you should make a video about what it's like when you've gotten sick in the pen.

Increase the opportunities to pick up skills in jail. Sentences should be heavy. Those who get the skills to be of benefit to society will get time taken of sentences. Hopefully they can return with the skills to do something.

And all of em full of bullets.. difference being, is im going to work tomorrow to make me some money, and i wont pull them on you to take what you earned... These three losers throwed they whole life away over what was probably a few dollars...wow.. just wow. But theyll be welcomed with open arms into a facility full of like minded idiots, and because they so young, theyll never know nothing else. And will be released right back onto the steeets to be a further danger and menace. All because we care more about somebody stealing a lawn mower to buy drugs and getting caught... My uncle never physically hurt a soul. But got a federal life sentence for manfacturing .. ive seen robbers , murderers snd rapist serve less time
