Wow, it seems like both devices can hold two batteries.

My sentry plus froze after I initiated an update and won't respond to anything, anyone had that happen to them (if so what did you do)?

Definitely there, it's just hard to pick out the MEMS chip 🙂

Are there any chance that we can upgrade gps atenna for better signal for sentry(not plus)?

No, not unless you wanted to do some real SMD (de)soldering work.

Nice comparison. What are the part numbers of the CO sensors? I'd like to lookup a data sheet, as many people have tested and reported that the Sentry models frequently fail to detect CO. Thanks in advance!

hey Justin, just went back to my notes but I didn't write down the CO chip, unfortunately. I assume it's something similar to a BME280/BME680. Not saying it's that, just that I'd expect it to be similar. Glad someone appreciates the nerdery! I'm going to add my chip notes to the description.

@@flysport_tedder I believe it is the much larger coin-cell looking component on the face of the PCB. I don't have one otherwise I would take mine apart. Do you have any close up photos in your records that could reveal the part number?

The CO sensor is a Figaro 5141

how does it compare to the Garmin gdl 52. trying to decide which to buy

I don't know. Certainly the Sentry series only work with Foreflight, so if you're staying in the Garmin world (like Garmin Pilot) the GDL52 would make sense.
