Whether you're a parent with a starter set and a kid who insists on playing the Clones, leaving you with the Separatist chaff, or - like me - you've got a soft spot for the faceless cannon fodder in any wargame... you're going to end up painting a lot of Battle Droids. As luck would have it, they're some of the easiest things in the game to paint - hovering around 2-5 minutes for unmarked basic droids to around 8-10 minutes once you include Commander or OOM droid markings, it needn't take you long to have a great-looking army on the table.
