would it have killed them to actually hire iranian actors? so that the iranians that are trying to make it in hollywood can actually have a job or hire actors from Iran.

It baffles me that they spend so much money to produce such a weak and comic depiction of some truly horrible events that took place in Iran. They should probably call this movie "Frida goes to Iran!" Selma appears to carry Frida's character over to her new role here...

Stating the problem correctly is important. And then to find an answer, or solution... many work hard - back breaking, sweat pouring, hazardous work, never having vacations, or luxuries - dying penniless - alone or with many around them, they live suffering much. Very insulting then when a bureaucrat or politician says we are paying, finding billions for war veterans - we are working hard... while collecting six figure salaries, and health and pension benefits... and then they worry about militant revolt.

Darius Ashkani Hollywood and the media in general is dominated by Jewish rhetoric though, that is my point. A classic case of Favouritism. Where's the story of Zoroastrians suffering? What about Christian Iranians (they'll never cover that).

Did you know that in Japan, inheritance taxes are one hundred percent? This is the idea that each generation born should receive no special consideration at the starting line - the son of a ceo is not to receive special economic consideration over the son of a rice farmer. (Japan has been in an economic recession since the eighties - ww1 and ww2 did not last that long.) Each year, students in Japan kill themselves for failing to gain admittance to the University of Tokyo. That is how competitive it is in Japan, if they dream of another life elsewhere. "Two Corinthians" - that guy's a billionaire. My point is, that the guy sitting behind that desk, hates the Royals. He thinks Princess Dora should be washing dishes, or flipping burgers, and not going on hikes with her friends, or playing with dolls. Japan, how like Iran? Europe and the US, how close to emulating the Iranian economy are they? Wherein leisure is despised, and sports seen as perverse and decadent - lazy even, unless they are killing each other to teach boys to see war as team sports? I think loving persons, work, save, and sacrifice to make life better for their children. And some sacrifice for their communities - here a park, there a public library. And amongst the super rich they indulge creating projects to benefit the nation, such as subsidized access to internet, or vaccination programs, to national endowment funds for the performing arts. Inheritance taxes, ultimately make people poorer in the long run - HOPE, that was the last thing to leave pandora's box. That said, there should be laws prohibiting child labour, and a national minimum wage, so that all might enjoy a certain amount of leisure - especially when it is economically doable. (Jesus fed five thousand with five loaves and two fish. Maybe everybody is stuck in his or her own reality bubble? How to explain the poverty?) Did Iran implode because of a lack of Keynesian Economics? If families suffer and sacrifice for their kids - they might send them a message that usury, pain, sufferring, a police state, is ok. It really is not. For pain is a negative - you do not get to choose your kryptonite. But you do get to choose what to delight in. Workaholic? Video game addict? Sleep? Yeshiva? Royals are they who have figured out how to find time to "dabble, experiment, and grow" per chance to bare fruit. By not arresting or fining they who hire illegals, a message is being sent - slavery is OK. "The times when people like you could make demands of us, is over. Now it is our turn..." Evolutionary progress, or merely two actors switching roles while the script remains the same? Well, is it wrong for a lamb to exact usury of the wolf, so long as the wolf is a wolf? It is written that the Lord knows who are his. The Law of Moses was not given to the world, but the Jews only. Jesus did not come to bring Israel to the gentiles, but the gentiles to Israel, so that all might be called, the Israel of God, the Church, and the Bride of Christ. Spotless and without rebuke - the only time the moon is spotless is when it is all-black. Kill whitey?

This is what the US of A is turning into. That guy behind the desk represents the US electorate. Covetous - hating "the rich", desiring all should struggle, thinking economic profit is a sin. Reminds me too of that line from a Jim Morrison song, "women seem wicked, when you're unwanted, when you're, strange".

Selma's "Iranian" accent...oh my God. Make it stop. She sounds Mexican, not Iranian...and I know both. Don't filmmakers realise DETAILS make a film? Ugh.
