Thank you for making such an amazing instrument :)

awesome vid! you can also link tracks without a computer -- say for example, the chord and module tracks together to utilize the step components (holding the track button + any track + the module track)

I can’t believe I’ve just subscribed to a channel called moist fantastic but I’ve just bought an OP-Z with an OPlab and an O-coast. This is exactly the video I have been looking for. Thank you! Also, repeating what has just been shown for key presses is great. It saves me scrolls by back 15 seconds to watch again. Maybe everyone doesn’t need what you showed here but it has helped me out no end. Thanks again.

That was hands down one of the best youtube tutorials I've ever seen. I'm wondering if the midi hacking trick can work to have step components on the video machine... 🤔🤔🤔

@@moistfantastic3772 So, here's the twist (sorry for spamming): you can actually assign those channels inside the iOS app in the MIDI section. No need to go all the way into the json file... 🤯🤯🤯

Great video and VERY well presented from what I've seen so far. Many thanks for this. Going to be watching the whole thing and studying it in more detail when I am not at work! On an unrelated note, what's the speaker you are using connected to the 0-Coast ?

Thanks so much! I'm glad it was helpful 😁 the speaker that I'm using is the Xiaomi Mi Bluetooth speaker. Pretty cheap with good sound (gets all those bass notes and ambient rumbles 😉), and the battery life is quite decent 👍

Thanks so very for much for this video. Following along with you - my midi port lights up if I choose midi on the output but I can’t get the gate/cv lights to show like you have at the beginning after installation. I know that’s not the focus of this video but do you have any idea why that would. E?

I am thinking of buying an OP-Z to pair with my modular system. Has any of the updates to the firmware of the OP-Z made using step components in the modular track, without a need for the workaround you showed in the video? Thanks a lot for your help!
@moistfantastic3772

Hmm not that I know of, sorry! Though if plugging into a computer and changing the file is not convenient, turns out you can use a shorthand to link the tracks as described in another comment on this video: Hold track + one of the tracks you want to link to the module + the module track. Though I've never tried this method myself yet ☺️
