Honestly, you mentioned the "Man down" whistle being the most chilling because of how loud and sharp it is. But personally, the thing that gets me the most about it is the synchronized utterance of "Fallen" whenever you let it play out. You'll seriously get 5-6 Seraphites saying it in perfect synchronicity in the exact same tone. It's crazy.

Honestly the first time I heard their whistles, it sounded so unsettling that I thought they only used whistles as their form of communication and not talk. So my unsettledness started to die down into confidence thinking they’re just simple human beings and not demonic beings… 😅

As far as I know, the developers based the whistling partly on the ‘silbo Gomero’, which is a whistling language used for communicating over long distances on the island of La Gomera (in the Canary islands). They assign a specific whistle to each syllable and based on the way they do this, I believe that the ‘call and answer’ whistles that the Seraphites use, most likely mean “where are you?” And “over here”!
