Yes, the irony of it all. As soon as I heard them use the battery as an excuse it was downhill from there, it only takes seconds to jump it, so pathetic! Shame they had the starter, would have loved to seem them giving it a push start :) A couple of further observations. The Sgt trying to justify his stance by say about all the hard work he has been doing re the bikes, was trying to get some brownie points with that comment. And later when he was groveling, he admitted to being on the double yellow lines even though AB had not mentioned that. When will they ever learn? The gift that keeps on giving.

To be fair, it didn't sound like he lied, it sounded like he shared what he had found concerning and they happily ran with what he'd said as justification to misuse their powers, regardless of it not being an offence. He said he saw AB "over there" gesticulating toward the council office, he said AB followed him towards the toilet, he said he "questioned" AB on what he was doing...........and none of those things were offences.......so it was incumbent on the officers to hear these claims that did not highlight a single offence, advise the council employee nothing unlawful had taken place and moved on. They wanted to find some reason to try to use their powers against him and heard what they wanted to hear. The council guy was an asshole, but the issue was they used the offerings of an asshole as justification to abuse their authority.

@@DBiggaFigga666 Nah, that guy came in even insulting AB from the get go. Looks like he felt he could be part of the gang himself. Notice how he claimed that AB went into a private area, which is not true. It wasn't until AB said he had everything recording and that he was purposely lying, that the traffic ward changed his account and admitted AB was in a public area. He clearly wanted AB to get in trouble and didn't hesitate on lying about stuff that would secure AB getting in that trouble.

@geordieal9187 in Oz here mate. I'm forever scarred by something that happened when I was a kid and just moved to a big city from the country. Pigs, plain clothes, stopped my mum for going through a stop sign. I remember she did stop but I was to afraid to say anything. When mum protested, saying she stopped, pig's face changed to a nasty look, and he started walking around the car looking for something extra to fault her. She said OK I'll take the ticket. Parents were fighting and arguing over money, which was tight at that time. Father drank a lot and was a violent sod. Anyway, driving away, just her and me in the car, she kept saying, anguished, confused, how she stopped. So xxck that pig for going hands on, and not admitting he was in the wrong by attacking the citizen who pays his wages.
