My Dadcu (Grandfather) was a farmer in Mid Wales - he had one just like yours only the 109''LWB Diesel model. A certain time of year would come when it got too wet for the LR to go anywhere off road, just at the beginning of winter when stock would need to be fed out in the fields. So he adapted some Dumper Wheels & Tyres to fit on the 109 - which meant he could go anywhere a tractor could go. The off road ability was transformed and he was no longer riding a cabless tractor on the hills in sleet and snow. The dumper tyres were basically the same as tractor tyres, only smaller. They would easily fir inside the LR wheel wells. Seeing this brought the memories back!

Nice old Landy that young man. It just needs 90/defender style mirrors, 7.50 x 16 mud tyres on Forward Control rims and you will have a beefy looking motor which is more capable.
