Hi Satori, I like your video. Please give more tips about minimal Poster Design, I'm still struggling creating my own even though I uses lots of mood boards. I still have difficulty in emphasising and placement of products, model and CTA. Wish you help me, thank you!

Thanks for the inspiration! For me all the redesigns were obvious improvements, except for the first one. The alignments of the text: yes, definitely better in your design. When it comes to the illustration and colours I think it might be a matter of taste. As a consumer I'm pretty sensitive to colour choices and I just love the teal and purple. Can't help it! :-) And the 3D illustration just doesn't do it for me. But I do understand your point and for the target audience your illustration would probably be better. Can't let my own preferences get in the way of good design of course! ;-) Great video!

The landing page with the orange background is the best improvement in the series... 👌 I believe the gaming landing page still needed a better background to it, don't you think?

I approve the card wholeheartedly. Webpage: My eyes love the previous blue, so 3D model wearing blue is nice. Advert: I approve this second best. The simplicity is very 2022 and I like. Webpage: Well done. Now orange looks softer to eyes too. Logo: I agree it's a no brainer. It looks more professional too. I do love out off the box font usage, but sticking to basic identity of fonts does serve it's purpose better. Thank you for the lesson.

It's interesting that the first "Wildly Cooler!" worked to me seemingly because it didn't look as 'smart' as your changes, so it fit the personality of a more ameteur small business. I'm seeing more brands now incorporating that into design/marketing choices to appear sympathetic and safer.

Great video !! Thanks! Lots of food for thought here. (Though I disagree with your "sell" that these were "small changes with big end results." IMHO they were big and many changes with big end results. When you change the font, alignment, colour, size, hierarchy, placement on the page, etc and lump all that into "oh I just changed the typography" you make it sound a lot simpler and easier than it actually IS for some of us!) Would love to see you do more of these "before and after" videos!

Absolutely love watching your videos . Now I’m not a designer, I’m a search engine optimisation guy . Been doing seo for many years and have around 12 clients. The funny thing is in all that time I do not have my own website ( weird I know ) but I digress, I’m building it now . Building the site I can do but logo design just isn’t my thing. Can I ask, what in your opinion would be good questions to ask a potential logo designer for my website?
@SatoriGraphics
2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for your comment! For a potential logo designer, you should ask the following. Their hourly rate. How long they typically take for the logo process? What is their logo design process? Can they show previous examples of relevant projects? What problems do they aim to solve in your brief?

@@SatoriGraphics misunderstanding... I would love to see how you would design a mobile ad/poster/website. So vertical design instead of horizontal. It's a lot harder in my opinion because you have less space.

Agreed on all accounts except for some reason the orange color in "new era" and the search bar in Design 1 looks out of place to me. I get that it's sampled from the newly added illustration and I agree that some orange needed to be added because of it, but it still looks odd. I'm sure it's just me though...

I think the first example of the website that didn't use the "Alignment" principle was possible going for a "Anti design modern era- look" to it. There are a few things I spotted that I would have done to improve the design(And please anyone reading the comment, correct me if I am wrong) by shrinking the the Main head text a bit, because I thought there were 3 key elements fighting for attention. Problem identified: 1. The logo - located on Navigation Bar. 2. Main heading text. 3. The graphic. But like I said I could be wrong so please feel free to leave some feedback if you think it would help? Thanks

@@SatoriGraphics at least in my conception, advance content about design must be something that talk about more technical actions and subtle elements to create a more specific goal. Example: focus about shapes content, 3d, 2d, organic, geometric and art styles that are based in this type of element. Its a feedback, but i really want to find more videos about specific concept that i can use to increase the quality of my designs, i just can see this in books, if you think this kind of content is good to produce i will love to see it :)

As a guy with 3D background I really HATE that new era of 3D hype. It's really 2000s all over again. Most of that 3D models are extremally poor rigged (even one at ypur video, look at his hands and jacket). That's not a style of that model, it's just really poor quality of it. All those designs will age very, very poorly in my opinion. At least those with junky models.
