In one of my previous videos, I took my service dog for a walk off-duty, then another walk on-duty. This follow-up video talks about my philosophy when training his on duty and off duty "modes" with example clips and tasking on camera. You can see the huge difference in his behavior when he knows he is working! Service dogs need to be very well behaved and highly trained, but when a service dog is off duty, they get to be normal dogs too!
Buddy is a medical alert service dog. He alerted me to a POTS episode, or orthostatic hypotension, during the filming session. You can see his service dog tasks in the video.
