Your transmission looks really good. A little clutch material in the oil is to be expected. My Cadillac's oil pan looked like yours, about the same amount of grey clutch stuff in the bottom of the pan, Bottom of your valve body looked clean enough to eat off of. On that last leak, I'm hoping for you that it is just the oil pan gasket, and not the rear main crankshaft seal. Those are never fun. It looks to me like RRs are like old Harley-Davidsons. They don't leak, they mark their territory!!

This newer 95 Ron petrol can destroy parts in old carburettors so can cause no end of problems. Some people use an additive or just use the higher grade fuel. I would start with reconditioning carbs then work your way through the usual fuel filters incase they’re blocked, check if there’s sludge or blockage in the tank, timing then of course condenser, plugs, points and rota etc. it can be a pain but it’s just a process of elimination. Good luck and kind regards.

I like the Classic Obsession style very much, obviously there's a lot of work done in the editing, no irrelevant, meaningless fumbling, just showing the bits that we would need to know and what to watch out for if we were lucky enough to own a classic car, if not, like me, it's just a fascinating few minutes watching someone else who likes doing what they do. I have to say however, it won't be long before your body complains about working on the floor and dictates that a service pit is required, sooner that later and before it's too late and knees, back and hips give up the ghost.
