Thanks for stressing the fact of not having the limbs resting on anything, I just put my (recently purchased) bow in a workmate and discovered the lower limb was almost an 1/8" off on the beiter block. My bareshaft is way off the target at 10m so I'm looking forward to later in the day and see if this is the problem (fingers crossed)...

It's surprising how much of a difference it makes. I'm sure you'll get it sorted soon. Enjoy the archery journey.

I already do this: tape and calliper and pen. I can testify this is low cost and works 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

The problem with limb alignment is that everybody takes for granted that the riser isn't twisted, which is not always the case.

Very very underrated channel, this gentleman deserves way more in my humble opinion. In the course of 3 videos I've learned way more simple...ish questions i had. Some of these big channels, even though great advice, there's way too much filler. This man is staight to the point and no waffle. But then he's a Brumie, and the ones I've met are same, no beating around the Bush lol.

I think after ive took my course i plan on getting a WIN&WIN riser, im assuming any other limb manufacturer will fit a W&W but if not then thats fine. I wont be getting one soon, got lots to learn first.

Yeah. All ILF limbs fit any W&W riser, but they are very expensive. Don't write off some of the cheaper options( SF, mybo etc) some of them are very good. Set yourself a budget and book yourself an appointment at your archery store. I don't know where you are but Merlin is a superb place to go if you are reasonably local.

I clamp my bow in a workmate, works fine.

Really useful. However my Core Archery Riser doesn't have those side adjuster screws. Does this mean I can't adjust them? (They seem to be very slightly off).

You can adjust them very slightly by adding a very thin wooden wedge to one side but unfortunately not very much. It's just the way the risers are cast I'm afraid
