Voice over is annoyingly low on this video compared to others.

The setup menus have greatly improved on the more recent Onkyo receivers. Just a couple of generations ago, they were rather poor. On a technical note, as others have said, your voiceover level is low on this video. Most video editing software has a "normalize" feature that can boost low audio.

Bluetooth connected to my galaxy s10+ and my note 9 will not play any music. Also no option for 8 ohm speakers?
@OnkyoEU
5 жыл бұрын
Hi, please use Setup -> 2. Speaker -> 1. Configuration -> Speaker Impedance to setup the speaker impedance. Choose "4ohms" for 4 ohms or less, choose "6ohms" for 6 ohms and higher. For Bluetooth playback, please see page 76 in the manual: www.eu.onkyo.com/downloads/3/3/4/6/6/Manual_TX-RZ830_En.pdf If the problem with playback still persists, please get in touch with our customer care team to find out what is going wrong: www.eu.onkyo.com/en/feature_article_en_42204.html Thank you!

I have the smaller brother (RZ730) and I can't find the option for adjusting audio\lip sync manually, only auto on\off. Am I blind? where can I find it?
@OnkyoEU
5 жыл бұрын
Hi, you are right, the TX-RZ730 uses Auto Lip Sync: "This setting automatically corrects desynchronization between the video and audio signals based on the information from the HDMI Lip Sync-compatible TV." As the sync is automatically done, there is no need for manually settings values anymore...
@Sniiiface
5 жыл бұрын
@@OnkyoEU Well autosync gave me about 2 sec delay on the audio compared to the video. Disabling it made it ok-ish, but theres still like 50-150ms that needs to be adjusted. Are you really telling me that the option to manually adjust the audio sync is removed? It would make the product unsuable for me.

1. Is the trigger cable included with the receiver? 2. Can I use trigger out with 12V 50mA relay to turn on second one amplifier for additional loudspeakers for high 2 channels. (to get atmost 11.2)?

Hi Anna - our apologies for late reply! A trigger cable is not included (as it would be of use to a minority of users only and according to our colleagues from the customer care team, #2 should work :-)

Hello, Do you need external Amp for 7.1.4 or for 7.2.4 ? Thanks.
@OnkyoEU

Hi, correct - for 7.1.4/7.2.4, you will need an external amp - please see page 55/56 in the product manual (e.g. available as PDF via www.eu.onkyo.com)

@@OnkyoEU thank you. since then i checked the manual. I have never bought/used a Amp before. I was reading about and found that they do not advertise RMS power but simply peak power in selling Amps. Do you have any advice which one to buy/consider?
@OnkyoEU

@@jaibharat4994 Hi, please get in touch with our customer care team to discuss your requirements (e.g. via our contact paths on www.eu.onkyo.com ). In general, please always check out standardized power ratings like RMS (and not peak power only, as this might be misleading). Thank you!

Been a big Onkyp fan for years but recently bought my 1st Pioneer Elite and now I'm switching back to this exact receiver and it will arrive from Amazon tomorrow. I can't wait to get back to those old school menus that I know so well because the one thing about their products is if you like them and they are your thing, you won't be disappointed because they don't change all that much except with technology. I went and listened to one at Best Buy and they still have that old school nice warm tone that I'm so used to hearing. I had to tweak the living heck out of my Pioneer to get it to sound the way I wanted. Keep killin Onkyo!!🤘💀☠💀
