They have some legitimate techniques that will be useful for diy-ers who didn't have a someone with decades of experience to learn from. Then they try to fix dumb problems like "try to fasten a corrugated material in the worst way possible". And shitty tips like "how to attach a small drill bit offcenter and guarantee you'll break it" or "ruin a whole-ass bit every time you twist a bolt head off, instead of using the tool meant specifically for that situation (which is probably cheaper than replacing the bit you ruined)".

i too also have the problem of my screw heads falling off after i drive a screw into a block of wood. Jamming a hex bit into the screw is my favorite way of getting it back out!!!

1. They make relatively cheap, more secure, and a lot safer roofing bolts for flexible and fragile roofing. 2. If a 2mm bit doesn’t lock into your standard chuck, treat your drill better, and buy a new chuck as the old one is broken. 3. Don’t eff up thread by jamming screw drivers into it. A better solution is to tightly hold the shafts on each side to the hex head as a make shift wrench.

Nails made specifically for that type of roof have a rubber washer on them to seal the nail hole, a bottle cap is not going to prevent moisture from penetrating the hole.

@@drizzydog4237 each have their own uses for sure... nails are typically cheaper as far as galvanized hardware goes (weather resistant) theyre also used in framing of the house because the flex instead of snapping if the house settles and its held together with screws they could sheer and youre gonna lose a wall somewhere lol whereas the nail can bend to accommodate the movement

You don't put the nail on the top of the rib on that material with that roof. You put it on the part closest to the wood that it's sitting on. You don't put the nail where curls up away from the deck.

The 5th scene shows how to remove a bushing with 2 flat heads. Do not do that! You will comprise the threads. Instead buy a pipe wrench they have so many good uses and uses leverage to lock on to bolt patterns.

The grinding disk wouldn't work because it's making a smaller radius on the flooring than the radius on the wall. The only way to maintain the same radius is by scribing to the wall following the same angle with the scribe from start to finish.
