Please do check the description if this is new to you! I'm sorry for some wrong ranges especially the lower parts as a lot of times the raps are kinda vague and borderline if they carry enough tone or not, and given my kinda poor ability, I might actually count them wrong. So if you do notice them wrong, please kindly tell me so! (And maybe some pointers to, you know, improve or something yeh). And I'm actually thinking to separate Korean and Japanese tracks for some reasons, so maybe when a group release enough Japanese tracks, I'd make two separate videos for them. Notes: - Don't Wanna Cry actually have a short Eb5 as a riff at Seungkwan's adlibs (the second D5 here in). Thanks to Sean On The Block! Thank you for watching! Its not healthy at all though... He supports well with resonance up to the Ab4 but strains with a high larynx a lot in the 5th octave. As for 4th gen female idols sure a fair few of them are weak but theres a few decent ones like Cherry Bullet's Bora, IZ*ONE's Yuri and Fromis 9's Jiwon who are fairly strong so theres no need to be disrespectful.

A G sorry if you took offense, i stan all those groups and ppl and Chuu from Loona is another good 4th gen vocalist but it’s a fact that the 4th gen is a noticeably weaker group of vocalist, Seungkwan is still better than most even with the strain
@MBAbhay

@@darthestaaar Haha no I didnt take offense. I was just trying to clear up the misunderstanding about his/4th gen female vocals. Yes, Seungkwan has better placement in the 5th octave than the likes of Lia and Mia but thats about it. Also, Chuu has a shallow sense of support so I wouldnt put her up there with the ones I mentioned.

Rather than the high notes, I am surprised with the low notes. Mingyu dominates the low notes which is surprising because I thought Vernon had a deeper voice

Seungkwan actually has a G5 in My My (you might want to check my Heng:garae vocal range video haha)! But when it comes to upper range, I believe DK has always had more ease. Seungkwan's strength lies the most in his belts, he and DK really complement each other in Seventeen!

Hey, just wanted to point out that in Don't Wanna Cry, the last high note had a little Eb5 moment in "ana" (as a riff) so it would be Eb5 as their highest on that one, anyway haha nice video as always! (just to mention, Seventeen really does have powerhouse vocalists in their hands oml)

I was just having a random thought where I personally feel like Seventeen's songs are quite high for boy groups, but then again I actually know nothing about range and notes haha so I just randomly search on youtube and your video pops up. I think this is a very interesting video and it helps me to know a little bit about their vocal range so thank you for this. Hope your channel will get more recognition ^^ I do have a question, are seventeen's songs considered high or are they just normal for boy groups?? Haha I'm just wondering because whenever I try to sing their songs, I tend to make my voice higher(?) to match them (haha idk if what I say make sense lmao like I said I'm dumb in this kind of thing)
