Hello friends, this is a little bit different than my usual video and is instead a video about my birth trauma and what happened to me in hospital to leave me with severe PTSD. This is my own experience and my own perspective on what happened.
Whilst my experience is going to be VERY different from others expecting a baby, I wish I had known about this, what could happen and had watched a video like this to prepare myself and my husband. Instead it was a total shock and has left me recovering from PTSD.
This is not my usual video, I usually post about country living, cottage life, cats and pretty places we visit, however I think it is important to be open and honest and discuss things like this as we are neglected as mothers to be and often treated badly.
There is a 1 in 4 chance of someone needing a c-section but there is not anything in place by the hospitals to support or care for the mothers once they go through this. Whilst some are lucky and experience no difficulties after or during, there is a LARGE group of women who do and end up in my situation or worse.
I want to share this so you feel comfortable to speak up and talk about what happened, there is still an ongoing investigation into this on my side but if you have any questions please do not hesitate to message me or comment.
