Yep and it'll only get worse because government doesn't dredge rivers anymore either nor re-enforce river banks from silt banks collapsing into the river making flooding even worse. Also to everyone else just remember the history of low fenland or low laying grounds we built river banks restricted the natural course and flood plains, then built closer to it over the last 100years.

The only way to manage this is to restore the countryside. Get rid of the Bullard table fields compacted by years if farming, stop clearing out rivers and allow nature to slow the rate at which water enters the rivers.

A great idea would be get a row boat then u can tow boat around just chillin u could just be like ‘aye mate hows your day doin?’ 😂😂
