Sewing machines are the one mechanical contrivance I’ve been incapable of understanding. No matter how many videos and diagrams I look at I can’t fathom how exactly it gets thread in an out of material, it’s eluded me for years. This is still lovely to watch.

There is cad video files available on youtube that explain well the sewing stitch and the serger stitch. If you still can't understand you can take a sewing machine and stitch with the manual handle really slow.

If you have ever made a daisy chain or a chain out of paper, well a sewing machine kinda works the same way except inside the loops their is fabric.

when you sew it makes more sense but its still a mystery. im not complaining though much easier than doing it by hand 🤷

I bought a hand cranked leather sewing machine off Amazon. It required some elbow grease to get it working well, and really helped me understand exactly how they work. It's surprisingly simple when you see a dumbed down version.

I love to watch machines just doing their job. I once worked as a mechanic in a bowling alley. Beautiful ~50 year old AMF pinspotters. Purely mechanically controlled by cams and gears. A pleasure for someone like me. Even if I'm not the "target audience" of this channel, I like this kind of content.

mechanical machines are so fascinating in this day and age where everything is electronic and digital and touchscreens.

Totally agree, a mechanical solution to a problem is almost always cooler than a digital one. It's a dying art of the 19th and 20th centuries.

Nice idea for a channel. All you need now is for KZitem to match your audio stimulation level on the advertising. Having a commercial screaming at you in the beginning is kinda counterproductive.

I agree, but on that, I don't have any control at all. This channel isn't even monetized at this point.

@@atmosfar2661 understandable, was pondering if asked for the proper reasons KZitem might make a lower volume level for commercials an option for channels aimed at special needs persons. I’ve seen it’s been getting more attention lately. Was surprised when the local Walmart near where I live has early morning hours with subdued lights and lower music for people in just this situation. As far as the monetization was surprised to see random commercials on such a new channel. Thought you had to be monetized before they hit you with adds.

I must confess it is in general relaxing, even though I have a hard time with the perspective from what I assume is the end with the needle, there is to much motion to focus properly, and I just get confused.

It needs a timer bar on the screen that slowly diminishes til it’s gone then there’s a scene change.
