You're the first person (sewing person) that I've ever heard say that they want to do things fast and correctly at the same time...that's exactly how I am .....I don't have time to sit around for hours working on one project...I like to get em done...so far my best is 4 purses in one day ....and I have 7 kids therefore an extremely busy household so that was rough...but I sell for extra income to take care of my family in hopes one day to have my own store. I love your work ..you're an inspiration

Thank you, I grew up in a household of 5 kids so I have some idea of how busy you are. The true inspiration is you, 7 kids and still find the time to sew. Bless you!

Thank you for sharing! I have a purse that has straps that cannot handle too much weight and the straps always stretch and crack within a short time. Since I already have the removable rings on my purse and cannot stand the thought of buying yet another set of handles that will need replacing soon, this is the perfect tutorial, thank you so much!

Thank you, as the others said the slow motion at the end is very helpful. I took a class once where the instructor sewed the rope to the end of the fabric tube then pulled the fabric over the cord I have forgotten how to do that I will experiment and maybe post if I find out how.

When turning the handles, why not attach the rope to the end with the safety pin, then the fabric would cover the rope as it’s turned outside.

I have a question please...I looked in the comments and did not see an answer - You are using rings that open. What will keep a thief from opening the rings and taking off with the bag, leaving you holding the handles and no bag? I haven't seen the rings in person, perhaps there is something I am missing...but it seems like a weak spot in it all to me, though it looks lovely. Blessings!

It would have to be a very fast thieve to be able to open at least to rings at a time. I use them because I like the idea of being able to remove the handles to wash them. You can always turn and move the opening of the rings where the elastic is to avoid having the opening exposed.
