Sexxy Red is not the problem! The problem is the media and the white producers behind it. The reality is women like Sexxy Red do exist and her representation is not taking away from us as a whole. Bkack women are not a monolith . What’s we’re missing is BALANCE!! We need more types of BW being supported and represented in the media. I can’t work out to Sade lol😭😭😭. I love my girl down but we need all of them. We need Janet’s, Jill, Beyoncé, Sexxy, Pink Pantheress, Meg, Rico, ext. we need the diversity shown because Bkack Women really are diverse. You don’t have to listen or care for them or let your kids listen lol. But the white media tells us that sex and violence is the only thing that sells for us . From what I saw, she spoke of the separation of certain bw. You can't have it both ways... Sexxy Red is a bw. True. But promoting this type of bw when bw are being unalived and human trafficking at the highest rate in WORLD is irresponsible. As to your last comment, how did that make sense? It's like saying Ronald DeSantis is not for me while not speaking up about his racial laws and his degradation of the image of black people. If people don't say they don't like something, it will be multiplied. "If you don't comment when someone is hurting you, they will kill you and say you loved it." Her criticism is not the downfall of bw... come on now... make sense.

We do have to create a separation if we do not want our daughters to go that way because of what we are doing and what we’re not paying attention to or what we are paying attention to because right now they are sponges and they watch us and then they watch the world

Sexy red is part of the problem. Don’t excuse her because she is this generations little Kim. Little Kim was a problem. Like u said BW are at the bottom . So how do we fix this we can’t fix it by discussing the problem and not offering a solution. I think BW need to generate wealth that circulates outside of the black community buy up real estate create new products where the revenue is not just coming from black community. The black community is at the bottom so nail businesses hair care/wig business are collecting money from black community only and the black community makes the least amount of money. Generate businesses that only the black community owns AND provide product and services that other non black groups want to buy. The Asians have nail and beauty stores that get revenue from black community. Sexy is part of the problem because unfortunately we need the strongest image to get other communities to buy from us. Yes it’s not fair because BW are not all alike but BW like sexy red and sukihana etc are going viral

To make this about gender equality...IRRESPONSIBLE. To make this about the past when there were only like 2 or 3 nasty female rappers then is TOTALLY IRRESPONSIBLE. Each race has it's representation that doesn't meet the standards of what is respectable. Honey, let's not pretend like black people are the only ones acting an a**. I mean, I get it. It's because we're at the bottom of the barrel. You don't want us to look more at the bottom at the barrel than we already do. But you can also accredit that to black men. Regardless of a Sexy Red... The stats speak differently for us, especially in comparison to black men. There's clear versatility of the black women being the ones that lead in education and comparison to other groups of women.... Black men do not, and they still make problematic toxic music that celebrates unaliving each other and selling poison to the community with no balance to reflect black men as more than drug dealers, crime proned,or baby daddies. Like, how can you not be worried about drake or twenty one savage or any of these rap cats. Name all the lady rappers, you know that are fighting battles in court for their freedom.... Drop some lady rappers that are in prison for selling drugs. JT and Remy Ma are the only ones that did time and they're not out here rapping about it like they wanna do it again.

A few of the raunchy songs would make it on the radio but now that's all that is played on mainstream radio. Sexy Red, Suki, & the City Girls are winning right now because extreme raunchiness is a cash cow. Raunchiness sells and our society has evolved to where it is not as shocking. Just think when we was listening to three six mafia or Khia our parents had no idea we was listening to that however today that is what is played regularly on FM radio. We hear the same thing the kids are listening to because its mainstream. Sexy Red is being used by the industry and they are going to chew her up and spit her out!!!!!!! Hopefully she has smart financial advisors behind her because her time is limited!!! She in fact may the VICTIM in our capitalistic society. Sexyy Red is a problem. Yes, we had Trina, Lil Kim, and different women throughout the generations, but the balance is not here in this generation. Hip-hop culture is mainstream, and we don't have artists like Rhapsody or any other logical women artists to balance out the vulgarity. Also, Trina and Lil Kim have a persona outside of their music that created a standard that I might rap like this but don't play with me. Also, no one is making a fuss about Glorilla, Cardi, and Megan because these women have a BALANCE. Sexyy Red was on an interview BRAGGING about being the RAW DOG QUEEN and getting STDS by the same nigga twice. This is not just about music it's the lack of balance this artist in particular doesn't have. My children (cause I can only speak on them) are talked to, but not everyone have parents who do this. Sexyy Red is fine and dandy for entertainment purposes, but remember when you start creating a generation of unbalanced Sexyy Reds in the community because you are supposed to worry about your kids only.
