Here's a fun little glider based on the SG-38 "Schulgleiter" primary training glider designed in 1938 in Germany. It has a 13" wingspan and was made using 2 skewer sticks, scrap cardboard, thin styrofoam from plates and assembled with white glue. I used acrylic craft paint for the pilot. It flies well but needs more nose weight so I'll be adding a bit more cardboard to the nose which will also help reinforce it from future crashes. I added dihedral to the wing and tail to make it more stable, the real one appears to have a flat wing and tail and a landing skid on the bottom which I left off since it would break easily. Thanks for watching and have a great day!! #glider #artsandcrafts #kidscraft #creative
