This place has become a paradise for photographers, as they say, "When the Northeast Monsoon blows, it's time to pick up the camera."
This location is easy to find, simply enter the name into your satellite navigation system, and you'll arrive with ease. What's even more delightful is that this place offers free admission and convenient, complimentary parking.
Upon arrival, you'll come across small stalls where you can purchase local agricultural products and Hakka cuisine. Furthermore, you won't need to climb ladders or put in any extra effort to see the persimmons; they are laid out under bamboo sheds, shining brilliantly like they're enjoying a spa day in the sun - it's absolutely adorable.
The process of making persimmon cakes adheres to ancient traditions. The persimmons not only go through the process of drying under the sun but are also smoked with wood, a labor-intensive task. You can even taste a small piece of persimmon cake to experience its unique flavor or purchase some dried persimmons for making soup.
Here, you'll come across both "Cow-Heart" persimmon cakes and "Stone" persimmon cakes. They look quite similar, with the only difference being that Cow-Heart persimmons have larger fruit grains, resulting in fewer persimmons with the same weight. The persimmon cake production process involves slowly converting tannic acid in the persimmons into glucose, transforming the bitter taste into a delightful, chewy, and sweet persimmon cake.
