It is ashame that Hong Kong government do not value old historic buildings. For me the saddest lost are as follows: Railway station on Kowloon side, all that's left is a clock tower; HSBC original building, now replace with the ugliest building in the world; Star Ferry terminal on HK side, now we have a ferris wheel; the Queen's pier, suffered the same fate as Star Ferry.

@3:00 According to my recollection, 尖沙咀火車站 was opened in 1911, not 1916.

I was born in Hong Kong in 1950 and left Hong Kong ( immigrated to the U.S.) in 1969. I remember everything that you mentioned.

HK is an interesting place . I would never forget this city too.
@@WillsReCollection Agree. 卜公碼頭 was named after Sir Henry A. Blake, the 12th Governor of HK (Nov. 1898 - July 1903). It's different from 皇后碼頭. It should make your top 10 list.

@@hkhistoryw5062 Thanks for your good suggestion.😄
@@WillsReCollection So miss them particularly your photo of Hilton hotel in Central. It was so grand and had a beautiful big roundabout outside. My schools and university were in Kowloon, so not much chance visiting there.

@@dyiu38 I miss Hilton Hotel too. It was a magnificent building. My school days were spent in Mid Level, but never had I a chance to visit there, not until I started working.😊
