玉敷公園の藤は推定樹齢450年以上の大藤(県指定天然記念物)で有名で、約1メートルの花房を垂れ、100畳敷きとも呼ばれる藤が甘い香りを漂わせ淡い紫色に咲き誇り、例年多くの方で賑わいます。
毎年ゴールデンウィークの時期に「藤まつり」が開催され、まつり期間中は、よさこいや和太鼓などのステージ発表が日替わりで開催されるほか、地元特産品などの物産販売も行われます
玉敷神社
埼玉県加須市騎西に鎮座します玉敷神社。大己貴命(大国主命)を御祭神とし、御神徳は厄除開運・縁むすび・安産とされ、騎西の明神様として古くから親しまれてきました。5月のフジをはじめ、6月のアジサイ、11月のイチョウ等、四季折々の美しさに包まれた創建1300年以上の古社です。
Tamashiki Park is famous for its large wisteria (prefecturally designated natural monument) that is estimated to be over 450 years old. The wisteria, which has a flower cluster of about 1 meter and is also called 100 tatami mats, blooms in pale purple with a sweet fragrance, and attracts many people every year.
The Wisteria Festival is held every year during Golden Week, and during the festival, stage performances such as Yosakoi and Japanese drums are held on different days, and local specialties are also sold.
Tamashiki Shrine
Tamashiki Shrine is located in Kisai, Kazo City, Saitama Prefecture. The deity worshiped is Okuninushi-no-Mikoto, and the divine virtues are said to ward off evil, bring good luck, find love, and ensure safe childbirth, and it has long been loved as the god of Kisai. It is an ancient shrine founded over 1,300 years ago, surrounded by the beauty of the four seasons, such as wisteria in May, hydrangeas in June, and ginkgo trees in November.
