During his Kabbalat Shabbat sermon on April 12, 2024 at Temple Israel (West Bloomfield, Mich.), Rabbi Josh Bennett spoke on his experience watching the totality of the recent eclipse and the revelations of the moment. Rabbi Bennett spoke to Jewish traditions and the implications of a solar eclipse; plus the little moments of life that we see G-d.
He explains that we do not have to wait for the next eclipse in order to be connected to G-d today and everyday if we take off the "protective glasses" that we wear in our day to day lives.
