Shabbat Shalom! Shabbat is the Jewish day of rest. We light candles, say blessings, and eat challah on Friday night. Many families also attend Shabbat services at their temple. More observant families are "shomer shabbos" do not work, drive cars, or use electronics during Shabbat.
