What a cool flower! I adore the shabby chic-ness of it! I wanna try it also with some sheer fabric layered with tulle or netting. I think that might be pretty! I don't have a die cut machine, so creating a flower with "handmade" shapes is a great thing! Thanks so much for sharing this tutorial Tricia! Hugsies!

These are fabulous,, I have fibromyalgia and arthritis and cannot can anymore so I had several packages of cheesecloth and now I know they will not go to waste. Thank you so much for sharing these are so delicious!! Love your videos. Hugs Cora

I also bought the thin cheesecloth as well and it turned out adorable. She is using a thin frayable muslin. I have never seen a cheesecloth that thick. Stunning!

I didn't have cheesecloth so I tried it with a loosely woven burlap ribbon and it came out awesome. Wish I could put a picture in the comments so you could see it but I really love your tutorials and am having fun trying them with different fabrics to see what they end up looking like. And using up a bunch of scraps in the process!

Lovely! For those of us in the US, I think voile may also work; it's more finely woven than our cheesecloth, and will fray just as nicely. Cheers!

Another stunning flower and amazing tutorial! I'm kicking myself in the butt right now bc my local thrift store had a HUGE bolt of cheesecloth with 100yds or something for $9.99 and I didn't buy it!! I just luv this flower. The airiness of the cheesecloth along with the frayed edges gives a feathery look/feel. Just BEAUTIFUL, it would work with similar weight fabric so the possabilities are huge.I could also colour wash the fabric with a very pale antique rose,also play around 2 get some leaves out of same fabric.Yup definately 1 to put on my 2do list.Thanku soo much for vid & inspiration.:) I wish u n ur family a v merry xmas & a happy,healthy & prosperous new year. hugs Suexx
