Thanks Clint. I can’t compete with the sound of hand tools and wood. They talk so much better than I do! Joaneen says hi and thanks as well.

10:00 great work! Who manufactures your aluminium sash cramps? I have a very similar pair but only about 600mm with pretty dire metal tommy bars in place of the lovely wing nut style you have on yours. Thanks, Isaac

This is the first video I've seen from this channel, and I'm already a fan! The project is very appealing, the video work is easy to follow, and the presentation is natural and entertaining. A question: What is your reasoning for using shellac on the "inside" of the drawers? Is it just for the smell?
@treebangham
7 ай бұрын
Welcome to my channel. Yes, shellac has no odor when it dries. I use one coat of 1 lb cut blond shellac.

@@treebangham Good to know! I've been enjoying shellac on my recent projects. Having given it a couple days I'm really quite taken with this project, and I'm planning on making one myself! How did you attach it to the wall, if I may ask?

Another fantastic project. Are those Tite-Mark gauges? I’ve got one and I’m thinking of getting another one. I’ve got a couple from another Lee Valley, but I don’t like them as well. I’ve seen some that look similar to the Tite-Mark, but I don’t know if they are as good or they’re just a cheap knockoff.
@treebangham

Thanks David. Yes, Tite-marks, two standard size and one mini. I'm not sure if they make the mini anymore. Simple and precise. Expensive, but the best I have ever used. I don't know about the knock-offs.
@FlyingHWoodworks

@@treebangham Thanks. I’ve got a standard Tite-Mark and will probably just buy another one of those. I know they sell the standard and a long, but I’m not sure what I would ever use a long one for.
