Marty, I feel like Eric Cogorno just introduced me to the Mike Marshall of golf. I'll bet you remember that Marshall was one of the first students of kinesiology. Mike had 14 seasons in the bigs & 724 games with a 3.14 ERA. That said, Mike knew what he was doing like you, Marty, know how to shallow the club & how to follow through. I bought your gizmo because you're not just a dumb jock who can whack the bellyjeans out of a ball; no, you're a smart guy who clearly knows what he's doing.

Chester, thank you for your comment. I spent 20 years being the dummy in the corner, listening to people who deemed to be smart. I was a pretty good pitcher growing up (Lefty) and my catcher shared your last name. Small world. Keep me posted with your progress. Marty- IMPACTSNAP

@@IMPACTSNAP OK, Marty, so I'm going to share a story which I call first revenge. When I was a kid, I was a pitcher who had a rising fast ball and a good change of pace. In the league I played in, there was an umpire who kept calling my strikes as if they were balls. I got fed up with him and told my catcher to "miss the next pitch". I let fly with a riser, Dinky let it go right over his head and Mr. V'slice took a heater in the chest. He dropped like he'd taken a .45 to the heart. I've been laughing at that for long time, and I never regretted it. Sometimes, you just have to fight back, but you might as well get a good laugh out of it too. Oh, OMT, Mr. V'slice never umpped a game I pitched ever again.

Really liked this. Easy visuals. Like the suggestion to start slow with half swings before going full. Get that feeling.

Great video and very helpful for a lifetime “over the topper”. Is the circle/shallowing move something that would be used for a single plane swing?

FYI, I had a real issue feeling this move, before I got to know you guys, I started using the Planemate which used correctly makes you do exactly what you guys are talking about.

The only thing I don’t get is why you hold off even past impact since nobody has a full swing that way. Sort of hinge and hold.

Matt Self I would disagree. I see 1400 students every year that make massive changes.

Matt, I also think as an instructor you have to know what to change first. The order of change is as important as what you are changing.

How does that follow through position not cause a chicken wing that is supposably bad for us?
@IMPACTSNAP
4 жыл бұрын
swardmusic this move is the opposite of a chicken wing move. If the shaft is moving away from you you will not chick wing. The shallowing is preventing the chicken wing.
