Yoh is mature and does his best to understand his friends, letting them be as long as it doesn't involve senseless slaughter; that's what the meaning of his speech is about. I felt so bad for Ryu this whole time after he noticed that Lyserg went to the X-Laws, but also love his resilience and belief in Yoh's compassion and wisdom. Lyserg is truly lost because of his anger and let that vengeance take over despite not having it in him to take a life, for now, which is why he held back his attack despite nearly winning it all by himself. Hao admitting that he is no different from the X-Laws shows so such great self-reflection it's almost admirable; deserves respect.

Shaman king is one of most unique show i've ever enjoyed/read. Regardless what even belief/moral system you into/follow. It's about the hand not the knife The Hand (Human/Shaman) shouldnt be mistaken as The Knife (Beliefs/Spirit) It's about human nature, Especially Human's pyschology of The Shepherd (Master Morality) and The Herd (Slave Morality) The master is about embracing virtue/nobility and vigor/power. And The slave is opposite (Weak) It seems, on this episode. The Author trying to show How is The herd is Weak essensially? The Weak one tends to be Vengeful, Dogmatic, Arrogant, Authoritarian, Rigid, even Delusional. They will obey, everytime one says "that's awful, dont that that". Says "that's sign of Evil, dont do this" Is it X-Laws, The Weak one indeed. X-Laws Embodied of Slave morality (Hammurabi's Code) In this series, without the appearance of Asakura Hao and his followers Jeanne is nothing important but another fool. Everytime she uses Her oversouls, you can hear the Hatred, Resentment from her voice. (Props to Jeanne's VA). I was kind disturbed/Shocked everytime she uses her oversoul. I was keep trying fastforwarded the video. Yeah good episode, and as well as the music

Yoh believe there is Truth in everyone's heart, including Lyserg, that's why Yoh being friended with him. A friend supposed to no doubt his friend. Lyserg is friend of Yoh, that's why Yoh know Lyserg wont such as thing (killing).

I believe the purpose of Iron Maiden was similar to Flail but more extreme. Seems Jeanne uses self-inflict/flaggelation to get more "power", "might" or "will" So hate, revenge that she called "Justice" prevail in the word. Might need hate to keep Above.

So I personally do not think the Niles were weak at all, I think they could have done really well against someone else. While they were getting rekt by Lyserg, who even with training he received from the X-Laws is probably pretty low on mana - it's important to remember his fighting style focuses on taking his enemies by surprise and destroying their mediums before they have the time to react - in his debut he easily defeated Ren, who at that point (and this point probably) was the strongest of the main squad. If we look at the abilities of the Niles they seem pretty respectable - controlling 10,000 spirits, an infinite mana well, and a literal death curse? Even if they weren't completely honest about these it sounds pretty strong. The infinite mana probably worked like the Androids in Dragon Balls, they can't make infinitely strong attacks, but they can keep generating energy at max output for an infinite amount of time. In the manga the pyramid guy was actually shown as one of the very few participants that did fly with their during the airplane test - so it was probably true. But of course regardless of lyserg and how strong or weak they may have been, none of it matters when a god class Shaman enters the fight. But I do have good news for Anatel - I believe he does not at all have to worry about being ashamed to face his ancestors - he will not be seeing them. For Shamans, death isn't really all that bad, if they want they can just become ghosts and keep doing their thing. This is why Hao reincarnated as a Patch tribe member and stole the Spirit of Fire - so that the people he kills stay dead. Fighting an evil that can just reincarnate the X-Laws had the same idea, Shamash and his archangels (yes the biblical angels actually pre-date the bible - and I believe it's mesopotamian angels because Metatron is among them) do not leave a soul behind. - I am 80% sure that is true and was ommitted from the new anime. But it is also possible it was only a 2001 anime thing and I mixed up my memories, so take it with a grain of salt

Shamash was equivalent of Uriel, angel of the sun. Shamash in semite language (arabic/hebrew) means Sun

@@RancorSnp most we know that as called Biblical angels were actually known as before/predating under many names and many cultures Uriel = Shamash/Utu Metatron = Nabu Melchizedek = Marduk . The equivalent of Angel in mesopotamia culture is ILU/Ilhm, meaning Shining ones. That's where the word Elohim derived from. In indus culture, Angel/Ilhm were known as Deva (Dewa) Which also means Shining ones

X-laws was obsessed with what the called "law" and "justice". And Shamash as their Main patron as is kinda explaining. Since Shamash were known as God of Justice and Law, which is part of Truth.
