The other day I was wrestling with some hard emotions. In the description, I'll share a couple resources along with the Fr Mike video I refer to. Emotions are messages from God - don't ignore, argue with them, or reason with them. Just let them be. They can either be a source of grace or a very hard trial. It's up to us. The more we lean into acceptance, the less we see them as controlling our lives. And remember: emotions have a thought attached to them. So if we can find that thought and label it as "unhelpful" we're in the beginning of the journey already!
