shannon brown is my fav player for 2 reasons. 1. the dunking, he has insane hops, 2. he is the only person who plays for fun anymore, everybody plays for money and fame, he just wants to have fun

Shannon Brown made the lakers fun to watch, and sometimes a nice slam dunk can get the crowd going and the team. And yeah Trevor Ariza is a hell of a player, I really never got why they didn't want him there, he was amazing at doing the little dirty things.

man, i know the lake show picked up some decent players this offseason. But nothing will ever help me get over their decision to let him go. I always envisioned him becoming a combo guard who would start once fisher was done. He had the greatest teachers around him in Fish, Kobe, and Phil, but damn, it just never made sense to me how you could let a player of his caliber go

He reminds me a lot of James Worthy dunking on fast break, looking smooth with his right hand up ready to throw down. As far as in game dunkers, I don't think it's unreasonable to put Shannon as top 15-20 of all time.
