1. USA set their team sooner than any other country. There was no reason, except to keep off any rookies. 2. That isn't what they said at the time, they said rookies would be judged on play and attending camps wasn't necessary. 3. They chose 2 players who hadn't played all year, one who had been injured for almost a calendar year. 4. It's all BS. 5. SITES AND groups are bragging about the team consisting of over half the members being openly lesbian, and the head coach and asst coach openly gay. Both injured choices were both openly lesbian. If some brag about this fact and something to be proud of, how is it no one else can even point out the fact and wonder if it came into play as far as selection? The whole WNBA claims to be a activist league, are they choosing awards and Olympic selections based on politics?

However, AB (Aliyah) has started to click with her more (more familiar with how Caitlin sees the game and passes), and everyone saw how lethal that combination has become when they played together during the All Star Game. They're only going to get better with time, which is what they have over this Olympic break thanks to the Olympic Selection Committee not choosing either of them to go to Paris.

Dawn Staley always speaks with a forked tongue...she did NOT give Caitlin Clark props. A few days before playing for the championship she said Clark is not one of the greats, then after she won she said Clark is "A" goat. This way she can frame Clark down to not being THE GOAT. A little while later she also said that "...Clark is the only reason, only reason..." that women's basketball is on the rise, in clear sarcasm. Staley is always playing the mind game angles like a jaded middle schooler, the same as when after lowly Iowa dared to stopp her team from going undefeated, because she thought her team deserved to go 130 & 0. Then Staley tried to frame Iowa's coach Bluder as racist with "We're not monkeys...thugs." She never corrected herself on this nor apologized to Iowa's coach, and in fact this spread to her team, social media, and LSU...the rest is history. This of course was Staley's goal just like when she called BYU racist, because a big part of her recruiting Monopoly is scaring top high school players to think that everyone in the country is racist and only godmother Dawn Staley can protect them. When her players cross the line, even to the point of violence, and then people criticize them, Staley calls everyone racist. Staley even doubles down calling these players ideal role models. When Clark, according to other retired WNBA players, is targeted far more than any player in history, Dawn Staley doesn't make a single statement decrying this or calling for sportsmanship or even decent behavior. Dawn Staley talks about the growth of the league but she doesn't want Caitlin Clark's fans - who are entirely the reason for the growth of the league - to be engaged with the Olympic team. Dawn Staley's 100% in charge of the Olympic team selection committee which is filled with her acolytes.

They knew what Caitlin was going to be while she was still in college. That's why they were trying to suppress everything she did before she got to the W. The WNBA has been exercising a bad business model. When a record company gets a hit on a singer they keep going back to that same artist over and over again until the hits stop. Even then they will still try to get a Blockbuster out of them because they have a history of hit making. Caitlin was a winner who set and broke records in college and the WNBA but league players seems content to remain on a vessel that's barely stayed afloat for decades.They should have hitched their grounded rockets up to Caitlin's star. She got a 28 million deal? Great. Another player then may get a 3 million dollar deal, the next 2 million. Someone gets a shoe deal then another and another, other endorsements and so on and so forth. But that's not what happened. The WNBA players lost their ever loving minds. They went to the dark side where Jealousy, Envy and Hatred lives and practically burned the bridge that the Semi with the gold in it had to come across. Good gracious. Time will tell if the mist of pettiness will lift from their minds and rationality comes in so they too can finally buy the house their mom's always wanted and deserved.

FYI - Can you do a FAN Video? Let me explain - I'm a huge football/rugby/soccer fan! We are crazy, fun loving, talking smack, painting our bodies and faces, screaming screaming screaming, and in the end we all meet at a local sports bar, even with our greatest adversaries/rivalries, and have a greatest party! I'm also former athlete coach and mentor to young adults in the entertainment and sports community. I feel the biggest problem in this whole Caitlin Clark WNBA situation has to do with the culture of being fans in the WNBA versus being fans in other sports. As I became a Caitlin Clark fan like millions of others, I became a real Caitlin Clark fan, doing all the things that great fans do! But then I hear Gino, all the women on ESPN, most of the Hall of Fame players which I like, all telling me that I'm acting with disrespect, by only being crazy and nutty for CC. Then on top of that I see the league punishing my player for my actions! I feel like a 10 year-old who's running around the neighborhood having a blast with his friends and then going into old Mrs. Johnson's house for Kool-Aid and her scolding us for our rambunctious behavior. I really feel like WNBA is a bunch of grandmas who don't want crazy fans! No I'm not talking about the racist idiots who are taking that into the situation to talk bad about our beautiful LGBTQ and women of color. I feel that group is a small tiny percentage on both sides and should not be given any attention in this topic. I'm talking about pure crazy fun fan actions. They are telling me that I should like A'ja Wilson, and other players as much as Caitlin Clark, and if I don't show EQUAL excitement then I'm being disrespectful. Does that happen in any other sport? Does the commissioner of the NFL and top Hall of Fame players get mad at Cleveland Browns fans because they don't cheer on the other hall of fame players. I'm not gonna apologize for being an old dude screaming at the TV telling CC to kick their AS...@!!! Because thats what FANS DO. Why do you and many others have to spend so much time trying to explain why CC is good? We know why she is so good. You can't netuerlize us by throwing us a Double Double record to say - "SEE! There are other players who are better. We want your money and your attention but you have to behave and be respectful to all of the other players first before we will endorse the player you love so much. So calm down, we are not the NFL!" As far as the OLYMPICS -We all know they didn't want their sorority to be invaded by CC and all her fans. I wish they would just come out and say that. "We understand that Caitlin Clark is going to come into the league and change things up for us with the style of play that she brings and all of the millions of fans that are coming with her. We want this year's Olympics to be the last year where we recognize those that have built this league to where it is now. So we're choosing not to bring in any of this year's rookies. We are all nervous about what the future looks like for the WNBA but one thing we cannot deny is the tremendous growth that CC brings along with a few other of this year's rookies's class mainly Angel Reese and her fans." Im sorry, FLY, but us FANS are coming and they better put plastic runners on the rug and lets in to drink our Kool AId!!!

Reese and Clark on the team and the Olympic venues would have been packed, unlike what happened. It's not about what other current players think about Clark. If some of them don't like her, that's great. You can have great rivalries that way. The problem is the the league doesn't like her for some reason, while they should be on their knees thanking her for coming into their league. She's the female Larry Bird. She just needs that rivalry with another player. Would be a gold mine for the WNBA, but they seem to want to wreck the whole thing instead of take advantage.

But I saw at the All-Star Weekend, some of them had been paying attention to CC's game and how she handles herself with the media. And I think some of them were finally getting that she does nothing but help THEM. They were much friendlier. I watched the NBA all my life. Never knew but a couple of WNBA players, Lisa Leslie and Rebecca Lobo. That's all I knew. And I'd maybe watch some highlights. Now I watch full games of the Fever, but I've been branching out to watch the Sky or the Liberty or the Mercury. But I WOULD NOT have done that if not for CC. They should stop hating us new fans. If you look up in the stands you'll see your new fans are a lot of kids, lot of little girls of all ages and types. Embrace that. I think they started to. I see a trend happening.

Angel Reece is no where near as close to Clark they had a rivalry in college but now it’s apparent she isn’t a draw at all and they had to make up some double double stats she was trying sooooo hard to get even in garbage time. Caitlyn is straight breaking records

John Thompson (RIP) would be a great voice to hear on this subject. Thompson stood up for the players that were black and took flack for saying "Georgetown doesn't recruit nobody but black athletes". He never attacked white people or players and didn't diminish the white players ability rather recognize their greatness to play basketball. His desire to recruit only black players was to give more opportunities for education and advancement, not hate. I wish he were here for the wisdom of his greatness and intelligence.

CC makes $76,535 on an entry level contract. She looked good at the all-star game, but she looked tired. She has generated way more than her pittance of a salary for the WNBA. She doesn't own anyone anything anymore. Even the snub has generated so much KZitem content. Some of these channels are clearly AI generated. The scripts are written by ChatGPT, and the voices are generated too. They get views. They get thumbs up. People write comments just like this under AI generated Caitlin Clark videos. CC is getting a much needed rest, and the snub is generating publicity and buzz. Everybody wins. The player gets a breather, and the complainers get to moan and groan as much as they want. On a bright note, I can't wait to see how a refreshed CC finishes the season and enters the playoffs. One last thing. The Olympics suck. They have racewalking and horse dancing. Weird!

Sorry, but the Reason of the WNBA is finally doing well Is because of The Catlin Clark Effect,,,,She had it it in IOWA and she has brought it to the WNBA. Angel Reese is a small by-Product of The Catlin Clark Effect.... Angel's Popularity is a tag-along to CC's Immense Popularity.... The White Mamba (CC), sells out Arenas everywhere The Fever plays....In Chicago average attendance with just Angel is about 8,400..when the Fever came to town to Play Angel's team. It was a sold Arena, 18,000. (if memory serves). The White Mamba, is the reason the WNBA will Grow...The $2-3 Billion Dollar Media deal is again connected to the Draw and Popularity of The White Mamba... And she is a class act....

I'm sorry, but AR should not be in the same sentence as CC! CC's on a whole different level. Reese's is NO WHERE near the caliber of CC! Just stop it. Stop basing it on the color of skin instead of who is TRULY making all this happen! Reese hasn't sold out one game!

I agree just because of the position we are talking. CC is a pg and is involved in just about every play and between her points and assists she accounts for the majority of point per game. I don’t want to hear from people” but the turnovers). 1st of all she does have turnovers off high risk passes and also mishandled passes yet her point involvement compared to points off turnovers she is solely to blame for aren’t even close. Also LeBron and Kobe both were top 5 all time in turnovers with LeBron #1. Not a shocker considering his offensive responsibilities. Now Reese for her position and lack of bigs her size will most likely be one of the best at that position but it is night and day comparing the 2. So yeah I agree no comparison but for her position Reese will be one of the better ones

I never said she was close to CC I said both of them being on the usa team would of been a great look for the league cause those 2 are the ones everybody wants to see. Look at who is the top 2 jersey sales. Makes me look at you side ways the way you jump to color like that 👀👀 haha I'm just not bias I can admit a money move when I see it.

The only people being honest about Clark were NBA players and fans who recognize the skills Clark brings to the game. The WNBA harpies hate the new girl rocking their leaky boat. It's so obvious. Clark's biggest hater Swoops is still calling games for the WNBA. Unbelievable!
@tatumwebb1543

Caitlin cares more about her team winning and lifting up her teammates than any individual record....and she gives credit to all of the trailblazers before her - even though people like Cheryl Swoops spoke lies about her to downplay Caitlin's greatness (claiming she broke the NCAA record playing more games when she played less, and that she's 25 instead of 22 yrs. old, smh). YES!!! That GIFT is what has drawn people to Caitlin - in addition to her ability to shoot from distance....because it's a RARE ability! Players like A'Ja need to stop attributing Caitlin's "popularity" to other reasons. Caitlin's game being a cross between Magic/Bird and Steph Curry is mostly what drew people to her...generational talent is rare. It's sad that so many WNBA greats can't grasp that concept in the least.
