this is smart, but is it more demanding in term of performances than regular ray casting?

a 0,0,0 size shapecast is roughly equivalent to a raycast in performance terms and on this video my shapecast size is 1, 2, 1 so yea shapecast may be more demanding but nothing to worry about tbh

So you just shapecast the arm size once or constantly?

@@soda35160 I did 5 shapecast during the animation but you can do more for greater accuracy

@@aligaar could you give some more detail on how you did that? do you just shapecast the size and position of the arm throughout the animation?

@@ImIndeedCappy yea basically shapecasting arm shape by 1 forward 5 times during the animation but tbh just use raycast this system was for testing purposes
