The bone jig on that Marbles knife is a Herringbone pattern. There are so many styles and some closely resemble others. I just love the way the light plays off them.

4:10 I love the flat folding knives like the Tactile. I am a fan of the flat Mercator German knives and the Tactile looks like a nice modern piece.

Spear point is best for general purpose for sure but I discovered not the best when I need a pointy blade for packaging. My kids got me a Buck Solo and a Deuce for Father’s Day which is perfect for solving that problem. Current carry is a Case Canoe and a Buck penknife, so I’m well equipped.

Although in Spain I can carry a locking knife, most times I prefer to carry a slipjoint. I do have Case, Boker, Bear & Son and such like but I don't go much over the 100 euro mark. "Three inches, three ounces, tight and outta sight" is my motto for buying knives.

This video reminds me of my bed side table. Full of wonderful knives. I go through spells of buying knives and am in one now. When I was a boy it was the Kamp King knives that I could afford. Carbon steel stamped knives. But they did the job. I’d love to find a vintage USA Marbles knife. The Rosecraft knives are so nice I’m afraid to carry them and messing them up. But I bought them to be used. Fun video as always.
