Cool that Tarentino actually used the real Sharon Tate scenes while Margot Robbie (who plays Tate) watched in a theater. Glad they did not reenact these scenes. Nice tribute to a sweet actress. And persons saying Robbie didn't get a lot of dialogue, BE QUIET. I love the silent, day in the life Tarentino took of Tate in this movie. Holly Hunter did not say one word in THE PIANO and won an Oscar for that role. ONCE UPON A TIME IN HOLLYWOOD is a great movie. Seen in twice in one week!

There is an interview with Q Tarantino regarding the fall scene of Sharon Tate in this movie and he gave her a good comment regarding her comic genius in that this type of scene is hard to do but Sharon pulled it off as perfect and he said this was her best comic skills of acting and wanted to use the scene in OUATH to show her comic acting and get a response from the audience. Plus original critics of this movie gave Sharon good reviews for her comic acting. Sharon was great in this movie and I believe quite funny. Fate is such a cruel mistress. Manson picked Cielo Dr because he had been there before when Terry Melcher owned the property. He was a music producer and the son of Doris Day. He had basically blown Manson off and when he decided he wanted to start Helter Skelter he thought of the residence and figured it would be the a perfect place. A famous Hollywood elite would be the perfect catalyst and he would get a personal measure of revenge as well. But obviously it wasn't him that lived there by that time and it happened to be a pregnant Sharon Tate who by all acounts was one of the most pure souls you'd ever meet and in my opinion one of the most beautiful women to ever live. In Hollywood or otherwise. I'm not suggesting it would have been better if it were Melcher. It was just a cruel twist of fate for Sharon and the other victims.
